Abstract

"CONJUNTO DE ENCHIMENTO DE TANQUE DE COMBUSTìVEL SEM TAMPA, MéTODO PARA CONTROLAR JATO DE RETORNO DURANTE REABASTECIMENTO DE TANQUE DE COMBUSTìVEL". Um gargalo de enchimento de combustível sem tampa tem um selo resiliente anular que sela sobre um bico de combustível com a inserção no tubo de combustível. Inserção adicional do bico abre um defletor pressionado contra uma flange de borda na extremidade inferior de selo anular. O movimento do defletor pelo bico também move um selo auxiliar no defletor e o qual abre passagens de exaustão separadas dispostas externamente ao tubo de bico. Com a remoção do bico do tubo de enchimento, o defletor se fecha contra a flange de borda para selar o tubo de enchimento; e, os selos auxiliares se fecham e selam os tubos de exaustão. Os tubos de exaustão servem para impedir jato de retorno de combustível quando o bico abre o defletor em um tanque com vapor pressurizado e combustível aprisionado no tubo de enchimento e para prover uma trajetória de entrada de ar para acomodar a aspiração do bico de reabastecimento.
