Abstract

Un método para determinar una potencia de transmision eficiente para transmisiones punto a multipunto, método caracterizado por: mantener una base de datos en una estacion base (BS) que especifica cuales de una pluralidad de unidades detransmision/recepcion (WTRUs) son miembros de cada grupo PtM; ajustar una potencia de transmision de cada canal dedicado de enlace descendente (DL) de cada WTRU a la potencia mínima necesaria para mantener comunicaciones DL con cada WTRU; ajustaruna potencia de transmision PtM para cada grupo PtM, en donde la potencia de transmision Ptm de un grupo PtM es igual a la mayor de una WTRU en el grupo PtM más un desequilibrio de potencia PtM (ôPtM power offset). También se divulga una estacionbase configurada para determinar una potencia de transmision eficiente para transmisiones punto a multipunto (PtM).
