Movilidad Social en Bolivia: 1997-2021

Abstract
El artículo reevalúa el desempeño de la movilidad social en Bolivia en los últimos años(hasta 2021), comparando los resultados con observaciones más antiguas y con observaciones de otros países latinoamericanos. La metodología propuesta, enfocada en la construcción de un à ndice de Movilidad Social Educacional (IMSE) y su potencial dependencia de circunstancias familiares, como la educación y el ingreso de los padres, brinda una novedosa aproximación sobre la igualdad de oportunidades y su desarrollo en el tiempo. Los resultados muestran importantes avances en movilidad social en Bolivia, tanto desde una perspectiva nacional (luego de muchas décadas de indicadores poco dinámicos), como en comparación con otros países de la región (connotables progresos bolivianos).
