Abstract
Este documento presenta una revisión sistemática de la literatura económica reciente de las drogas, con especial énfasis en las ilegales. El trabajo es parte del Proyecto “Aporte universitario a un Debate Nacional de Drogas. Las drogas: problemas y potencialidades de la despenalización de ciertas prácticas” financiado por la Comisión Sectorial de Investigación Científica (CSIC) de la Universidad de la República, y realizado por un equipo multidisciplinario. En esta oportunidad se presentan los resultados del enfoque económico, ofreciéndose de forma estructurada las diferentes áreas temáticas abordadas, metodologías y tipos de datos utilizados. Se hace especial hincapié en las alternativas regulatorias con la intención de brindar insumos al debate público y al diseño de políticas.
