Wpływ wahań produkcji i wielkości kredytu na wartość dodaną w polskim przemyśle przetwórczym

Abstract
Artykuł poświęcony jest wpływowi wahań produkcji na tempo wzrostu produktywności pracy w działach polskiego przemysłu przetwórczego w latach 1994-2008. Analizowane jest w nim także znaczenie rozwoju finansowego, mierzonego wielkością kredytu dla sektora prywatnego, jako czynnika bezpośrednio pobudzającego wzrost oraz jego rola pośrednia, polegająca na łagodzeniu skutków wahań produkcji. Ze względu na produkcyjne powiązania międzysektorowe, w artykule dokonano dekompozycji wahań produkcji na dwie grupy: specyficzne dla działu i transmitowane z pozostałych działów przemysłu przetwórczego. Obie miary wahań produkcji i wskaźnik rozwoju finansowego zostały dodane do zbioru zmiennych wyjaśniających w modelu regresji, w którym zmienną zależną jest tempo wzrostu wartości dodanej na zatrudnionego. Estymowany model regresji został wyprowadzonego z neoklasycznego modelu wzrostu gospodarczego, w którym egzogeniczne tempo postępu technicznego zostało zastąpione zmiennymi opisującymi wysiłek badawczo-rozwojowy, napływ bezpośrednich inwestycji zagranicznych i skalę obciążeń fiskalnych. Do estymacji modelu wykorzystano dane panelowe i technikę Systemowej Uogólnionej Metody Momentów Analiza wyników estymacji modelu regresji sugeruje, że w polskim przemyśle przetwórczym produktywność pracy wydaje się negatywnie zależeć przede wszystkim od wahań produkcji specyficznych dla sektora. Wahania transmitowane z innych sektorów nie spowalniają wzrostu. Rozwój finansowy, mierzony wielkością kredytu dla sektora prywatnego, okazuje się nie sprzyjać łagodzeniu negatywnego wpływu wahań sektorowych na wzrost produktywności, a wydaje się wręcz spowalniać tempo wzrostu wartości dodanej na zatrudnionego.
