Abstract
The article overviews the system and mechanism of the state financial support for agriculture in the form of direct and indirect regulation of their legislative provision. The trends in changes to the structure of government support for agriculture have been analyzed, in particular it has been found that there is insufficient budget financing by the state which lead to inefficiency of financial security of such important programs for agricultural sector development as credit price reducing, budgetary subsidy in livestock, compensation for electricity and special water consumption, agricultural insurance, farm support. It has been grounded that support for agricultural sector in Ukraine as an important mechanism for the implementation of the state agricultural policy should be based on the establishment of comprehensive measures that would allow agribusinesses to achieve financial stability and provide them with necessary material and financial resources for expanded production renewal, create adequate working and living conditions in villages.
