La localisation des entreprises industrielles : comment apprecier l'attractivite des territoires ?

Abstract
L'attractivite des territoires est un enjeu majeur de politique economique. Cette etude essaie d'evaluer l'importance de differents criteres macroeconomiques dans la determination de la localisation des entreprises industrielles, a l'aide d'un modele de type gravitationnel. Cela permet d'apprecier les performances des principaux pays de l'OCDE, en termes d'accueil des entreprises etrangeres. Les Etats-Unis et le Japon se presentent comme deux cas polaires : dans le premier cas, tous les pays investissent davantage que le potentiel estime par le modele, alors qu'au contraire l'Archipel souffre d'un deficit evident d'investissements etrangers. Si la France a parfois une image degradee aupres des investisseurs internationaux, les resultats obtenus montrent que la presence etrangere dans l'industrie francaise est en adequation avec le potentiel estime.
