- Our small businesses deserve more. We need to declare an emergency and find solutions to help our local economy.
- Healthcare is a human right. We need Medicare for All.
- Let’s find ways to make NY viable for the middle class again and lower these outrageous taxes.
Healthcare - I believe in Medicare for All
Small Businesses need our help, especially after Covid
We need to bring more high paying Jobs to our district
Passion, integrity, grit, bravery and empathy are what I like to see in an elected official. The human side of really wanting to help fellow citizens live a better life. Unfortunately, we don’t see many electeds who display these characteristics.
I am someone who has been through ups and downs in life. I am born and raised in NY3 - and I understand the issues facing our residents. I am a single mother of two boys, who has always found a way to persevere and work through problems and find real sustainable solutions. I want to bring my experience and passion to DC and bring real results to the residents of NY3
When I was in 11th grade, I worked at the retail store EXPRESS in the Broadway Mall in Hicksville. I worked there through the summer and into my senior year. When I was you her, although it was not an official job, my parents would have me work in their medical office for my weekly allowance. I would file charts, answer phones and sometimes even work as a receptionist. I grew up watching how hard my parents worked and am always inspired by our first responders - especially watching them treat patients and put themselves in harms way to help others during this pandemic.
My favorite book since I was 13 years old has been The Catcher in The Rye. The way Salinger wrote the book in Holden’s character engaged me and sparked my love of reading. The book shows us that adolescence is interesting and often times confusing. It also shows us that kids can sometimes see things that adults cannot.
Over the next decade I believe the greatest challenge will be unifying and gaining back the trust of the American people. We see such a divide in political ideology that even a vaccine and a global
pandemic have become politicized. This division has to be healed for our nation to move forward.
I believe that term limits are absolutely necessary and should be enforced for all levels of political office.
Absolutely. As a mother of 2 sons and a business owner- i know that compromise is desirable as well as necessary for policy making.
