Jim Sargent
Jim Sargent was a Republican candidate for District 30 of the Connecticut House of Representatives. The primary election was on August 10, 2010, and the general election was on November 2, 2010.
About
Sargent earned a B.S. in political science from Northeastern University in 2008. His professional experience includes working as a substitute teacher in Southington Public Schools.[1]
Elections
Sargent was uncontested in the August 10 primary. He was defeated by incumbent Democrat Joe Aresimowicz in the November 2 general election.[2][3]

Sargent resides in Southington, Connecticut. In addition to running for state office, Sargent has served on the Southington Republican Town Committee and the Southington Town Building Maintenance Committee. He is a member of the Northeastern University Alumni Association.[1]
