Alphonse Paolillo (Democratic Party) is a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 97. He assumed office in 2017. His current term ends on January 6, 2027.

Biography
Alphonse Paolillo was born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut. He attended Wilbur Cross High School, graduating in 1990. Paolillo went on to attend the University of Connecticut, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in 1994. After college, he worked for U.S. Senator Joseph Lieberman. Paolillo's other professional experience includes working as a registered representative by John Hancock Financial Network in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. Paolillo was first elected to the 17th Ward on the New Haven Board of Alders since July 2003 and began serving as Majority Leader of the Board in January 2012. During his tenure on the board, he has served as chairman of the Aldermanic Affairs Committee and vice chairman of the Public Safety Committee. He has also been a member of the Aldermanic Finance, Tax Abatement and Legislation committees, as well as the City Resources Allocation Subcommittee and the Special Committee on Ward Redistricting.[1]
Representative Paolillo was elected to represent the 97th District in the Connecticut House in 2016. In the 2019 session, he served as vice chair of the Public Safety and Security Committee and as a member of the Banking Committee and the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee.[1]
