I have been a resident of, and connected to, the Town of Greenwich since 1986. This is the town where I raised and educated my four children, both in the private and public school systems. I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina and graduated from the Catholic University of Argentina with a degree in Business Administration. I also attended the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business where I completed an Advanced Management Degree. In college, the Interamerican Foundation along with international corporations selected and sponsored me to spend 2 months in the US where I was introduced to the American political and educational system. In 1974, I returned to the US for a training program with Morgan Guaranty Trust (today JP Morgan Chase), and in 1987, I proudly became a US Citizen.

  • I bring experience required to negotiate optimizing both the short and long-term use of State fiscal revenue.
  • I believe in affordable and accessible healthcare.
  • I will fight for quality option for distanced and on-site learning in education.

As a volunteer for the Greenwich Town Conservation Department at the Mianus River fish ladder, the safety and sustainability of our environment is paramount. We must continue to court clean energy industries, and continue to institute state-wide policies to ensure minimal waste, clean air, and safe shorelines and water. We cannot afford to introduce or industries which compromise our environment now and for generations to come. Accordingly, I support creating tax incentives for clean energy industries and will avidly support legislation which protects our environment.

With over new residents moving to Connecticut, we are gaining a new generation of thinkers and industries which we must support and utilize to modernize the infrastructure and industries in our state. Despite a slow-down in commuting and travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will eventually return to travel, and when we do so, it should be with a newly informed sense of safety as well as with energy efficiency. We must continue to develop our technology and innovation here in CT. I advocate utilizing public-private-partnerships to improve our rails, roads, and to continue the expansion of Bradley International Airport so that CT continues to grow and evolve with state of the art, socially and environmentally responsible technologies and industries.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Connecticut

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
