On John Mayall's Turning Point album from 1970 there is a great sax solo on the 12 minute cut California. John played with a lot of different people in his day. Jon Mark and Johnny Almond appear on this one. The sax work on this is awesome!

I remember it like it was yesterday.
I saw Mayall back in '74. I think he was drunk, but I heard he got sober later on in his life. I just googled him and see he is still alive and well. Good for him.
