Software for Animating MacBeth

What software will let me create characters and objects to place on a stage, add lights and cameras, and script the action and the dialog? Then I can package that performance, send it to you, you can edit it, change a character's lines, their costume, etc. Maybe also a repo where people share characters, set designs, stage props, etc. Some possible candidate softwares are Second Life, Minecraft, SimCity, Blender, Fortnite, StoryTelling Alice? Looking for YouTube Channel Explaining World Theatre Traditions

Back in 2020, I stumbled across a YouTube channel that had 20 or more videos explaining Noh, Beijing Opera, Commedia dell'arte, Kathakali, Javanese, etc theatre traditions. I remember them as well made and rather thorough. I've tried various searches on YT but cannot find any series like I've described. Has anyone come across this channel?

Did How to Blow Up A Pipeline get a wide U.S. theatrical release?

How To Blow Up A Pipeline was released on April 7 in the U.S., but typing zip codes into the Neon site results in just 1 theater each in NYC and LA and none for the other largest U.S. cities. Did I miss it going wide? The Wikipedia page has a "Concerns raised by authorities" section. Did Neon get scared to release it widely? Did theater chains reject it? [more inside]

Obscure Christmas play

Identify the play from the distinctive stage direction

When I was at school some decades ago, my Eng. Lit. teacher shared an anecdote about a satiric play, deliberately written to be unstageable, containing a stage direction that has stayed with me: 'Enter the Emperor Maximilian and the entire papal army' or possibly 'ten thousand troops of the papal army' or possibly not the Emperor Maximilian but someone else, or someone else's army, but definitely an unfeasible number of troops. I find myself in need of the title and exact quotation. Is this familiar? [more inside]

Name that Play Script

Understanding Local Theater

When I lived in Ohio, community theaters groups operated independently (Footlighters, Tri-County Players, etc.) but were also members of OCTA (Ohio Community Theater Association). Watch acting behind the scenes

I'd like to know more about how acting is done. I know absolutely nothing about it, and I'd love to watch a long documentary showing actors practice lines, shoot a scene, discuss retakes with directors, things like that. Google gives maaaany options but it's swamped with advice about how to be an actor or deep dives into special effects, neither of which I want. Instead I'd love to watch minutia about how actors plan a character, memorize lines, interact with each other & the camera. Any genre welcome!

Help me identify this short play!

I heard this play on the podcast Playing on Air, but I couldn't find it again myself. The play has two characters, a wife and husband talking together in the morning. They start out bickering/bantering over coffee and then it's revealed that it's the wife's birthday and the husband has totally forgotten. The wife describes how she's worried about her birthday party, because she's been lying about her age and telling different friends different ages and doesn't know what to do. The couple also discusses getting a divorce.
