Definitions
- the present invention relates to a mobile information processing apparatus and a mobile information processing method that are useful when applied to processing of mobile information such as a vehicle, and a driving support system to which the mobile information processing is applied.
- a driving support device including a car navigation system mounted on a vehicle calculates a travel time and a shortest route from a current location to a destination based on traffic information acquired from a road traffic information communication system.
- the road traffic information communication system adopted for such driving support is the traffic information collected at the road traffic information center which is its management center, various traffic information such as travel time for each section, traffic regulation, etc.
- the information is distributed to the driving support device via a communication medium such as a beacon or FM multiplex broadcast.
- the driving support device selects a recommended route from the current location to the destination based on the traffic information thus distributed, and notifies the driver of the selected recommended route.
- the driving support device calculates the travel time of the recommended route from the current location to the destination based on the traffic information thus distributed, for example, and notifies the driver of the calculated travel time.
- Such a driving support device when calculating a recommended route or travel time, is a link that is an index of easiness of passage set for a predetermined road section, so-called link, which is divided by nodes such as traffic lights and intersections, for example. Often costs are used. In addition, as this link cost, there exists information regarding average moving time, a road width, etc., for example. Then, the driving support apparatus refers to the link cost set for each link existing from the current location to the destination, and selects a route from the current location to the destination so that the link cost is minimized.
- the storage means in the state where the cost of power resources such as fuel is associated with nodes and links registered in advance in the map data. The one stored in is used.
- this apparatus manages the cost of power resources using nodes and links as management units.
- the device extracts the link cost of each travel route from the departure point to the destination point from the storage means, and calculates the recommended route and travel time based on the extracted link cost. Various calculations are performed to
- the present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a mobile information processing apparatus, a mobile information processing method, and a mobile information processing method that can reduce the processing load of the mobile information.
- the object is to provide a driving support system using a vehicle.
- a mobile information processing apparatus is a mobile information processing apparatus that processes movement information of a mobile object, and collects the movement information and associates the collected movement information with a corresponding link or A management unit that manages the information in association with information indicating a node; an information integration unit that acquires movement information corresponding to at least two consecutive links or nodes from the management unit; and integrates the acquired movement information; and A planning unit for planning a movement plan of the moving body based on the movement information integrated by the integration unit.
- a movement information processing method is a movement information processing method for processing movement information of a moving object, which collects the movement information and links the collected movement information to a corresponding link or A management step for managing in association with information indicating a node; an integration step for acquiring movement information corresponding to at least two continuous links or nodes managed in the management step; and integrating the acquired movement information; And a planning step of planning a moving plan of the moving body based on the movement information integrated in the integrating step.
- the above movement information is managed in units of nodes that are positions where specific traffic elements such as intersections, traffic lights, and curves and the number of lanes are changed, and links that are partitioned by the nodes.
- nodes that are positions where specific traffic elements such as intersections, traffic lights, and curves and the number of lanes are changed
- links that are partitioned by the nodes since there are an infinite number of nodes and links on the travel route of the mobile body, the amount of travel information related to the nodes and links included in the predetermined travel route increases in correlation with the number of nodes and links.
- the movement information corresponding to at least two consecutive links or nodes is integrated among the movement information managed in units of such nodes and links. Therefore, a plurality of pieces of movement information corresponding to at least two continuous links or nodes are converted into a single piece of integrated movement information. As a result, the processing load of the movement information is reduced by the amount of movement information integration, and it becomes possible to smoothly plan a moving body through the processing of the movement information.
- the information integration unit sets whether or not the pieces of movement information corresponding to at least two continuous links or nodes approximate each other as a threshold value for determining whether or not the pieces of continuous movement information approximate. Based on the condition that the movement information is approximated, the movement information is integrated.
- the movement information has a tendency to change depending on the characteristics of the movement route, and even movement information corresponding to an adjacent link or node includes movement information that approximates each other and movement information that does not approximate each other.
- movement information corresponding to an adjacent link or node includes movement information that approximates each other and movement information that does not approximate each other.
- the combined movement information becomes information that approximates each piece of movement information before integration, and information that reflects the movement information before integration.
- movement information that approximates each other is selected as movement information to be integrated. For this reason, it is possible to approximate the information contents of the movement information before and after conversion while integrating the movement information and converting a plurality of pieces of movement information into a single piece of movement information.
- movement information corresponding to continuous links or nodes included in a predetermined movement section tends to approximate. Therefore, the movement information can be smoothly integrated by integrating the movement information on the condition that the movement information is approximate.
- the information integration unit performs the process of updating the threshold when the integrated number of pieces of integrated movement information is less than a predetermined number.
- the integration condition of movement information is appropriately relaxed. Therefore, the integration of the movement information is performed on the condition that the number of traveling loads to be integrated has reached the specified number, and the number of pieces of movement information on the planned movement route is reduced to a desired number. Is possible.
- the information integration unit includes: a. Based on the movement information associated with the start point of at least two consecutive links or nodes, the movement information associated with one or more links or nodes continuous with the link or node as the start point and the movement based on the reference Processing for determining whether or not the information approximates; and b.
- the reference movement information and one or more pieces of movement information approximate to the movement information are integrated, and the link or node associated with the movement information that does not approximate the reference movement information is integrated next.
- the movement information is integrated by sequentially repeating the process of resetting the starting point of the link or node with which the movement information to be associated is associated.
- the movement information to be used as a reference is temporarily fixed, and the movement information to be used as the reference and the movement information to be compared are sequentially compared.
- the compared movement information approximates the movement information to be used as a reference, the pieces of movement information are integrated.
- the plurality of pieces of movement information associated with the links or nodes included in the range of the predetermined section from the link or node associated with the movement information to be used as a reference are integrated.
- the compared movement information no longer approximates the movement information to be used as a reference, the movement information to be used as a reference is updated, and the movement information is appropriately integrated through comparison with the movement information to be used as the reference. This makes it possible to smoothly integrate movement information.
- the information used for determining whether or not the movement information approximates each other is fixed to the movement information that is used as the reference. For this reason, whether or not the movement information to be compared should be newly integrated even if there is a difference between the movement information based on the same standard and the movement information after integration due to the integration of a plurality of movement information. It becomes possible to discriminate accurately. As a result, only movement information that approximates the reference movement information can be selected as an integration target.
- the information integration unit integrates the movement information in units of at least one of a traveling environment in which the mobile body travels and a type of the movement information.

- step S104, S105: YES When the link to be compared with the reference link that is sequentially updated in this way becomes the end link of the searched travel route (steps S104, S105: YES), the reference link, the end link, and the link between the links This process is terminated by calculating the average value of the travel loads of the links included in (Step S106). Also, when the reference link that is sequentially updated becomes the last link of the searched travel route, this processing is similarly ended (steps S108, S105: YES, S106).
- travel information such as travel load associated with each link or node included in the searched travel route is integrated.
- the movement information is integrated in units of a plurality of sections having similar travel loads.
- the movement information on the travel route that has been subjected to the integration process is output to the driving support unit 124 and is used for driving support by the driving support unit 124, that is, for planning.

- the travel sections after the links Lk0 to Lk2 and the link Lk6 are classified as a low load area, and the travel section including the links Lk3 to Lk5 is classified as a high load area.
- driving support based on the travel load is executed by the driving support unit 124 for each of the classified regions.
- the driving support unit 124 and the hybrid control device 108 can perform various calculations using the information indicating the integrated traveling load, and the processing load during driving support and hybrid control is greatly reduced. It becomes.
- the HV mode is assigned to the travel section including the links Lk3 to Lk5 where the travel load is high, and the links Lk0 to Lk2 where the travel load is low, and the links Lk6 and after.
- the EV mode is assigned to the traveling section.
- the HV mode is executed while the vehicle 100 is traveling in the high load region, and the vehicle 100 travels using both the engine and the motor as drive sources. Further, when the vehicle 100 traveling in the high load region enters the low load region, the vehicle 100 switches from the HV mode to the EV mode, and the vehicle 100 travels using, for example, only the motor as a drive source.
- the mobile information processing apparatus As described above, according to the mobile information processing apparatus, the mobile information processing method, and the driving support system according to the present embodiment, the following effects can be obtained.
- movement information corresponding to at least two continuous links or nodes is integrated. For this reason, a plurality of pieces of movement information corresponding to at least two continuous links or nodes are converted into a single piece of integrated movement information. As a result, the processing load of the movement information is reduced by the amount that the movement information is integrated, and the movement information can be processed smoothly.
- the physical quantity required for the movement of each link by the vehicle 100 is selected. Then, the movement information is integrated through calculation of an average value of each physical quantity corresponding to at least two continuous links or nodes. Thereby, it is possible to integrate movement information through a simple calculation such as calculation of an average value of physical quantities.
- the driving support unit 124 uses the movement information, the movement information corresponding to the link or node included in the travel route from the departure point of the vehicle 100 to the destination point is integrated. For this reason, it is possible to integrate only necessary movement information only when necessary without changing existing movement information managed in the movement information database 122 or the map information database 111 in units of links or nodes. . As a result, the movement information can be held in the movement information database 122 or the map information database 111 in units of links or nodes, and the movement information necessary for integration can be appropriately combined to be integrated, which is required each time. It is possible to integrate movement information with a high degree of freedom.
- Driving support for the driver was performed using the movement information integrated by the information integration unit 123.
- the amount of information to be processed by the driving support unit 124, the hybrid control device 108, and the like during driving support is greatly reduced, and driving support performed through the processing of movement information can be performed smoothly.
- This also makes it possible to reduce the amount of communication such as movement information to be transmitted and received between control devices in the vehicle and data controlled based on the information, thereby reducing the communication load in the vehicle network. It also becomes.
- a hybrid vehicle including an EV mode that travels using a motor as a drive source and an HV mode that travels using a motor and an engine as a drive source is targeted. Then, the travel load of the travel route from the departure point to the destination point calculated based on the travel information is calculated, the EV mode is executed in the travel section where the calculated travel load is low, and the travel load is high.
- the HV mode was executed in the running section. For this reason, the number of executions of processing for determining whether the traveling load is high load or low load and the number of executions of processing for assigning the EV mode and the HV mode according to the determined traveling load are significantly reduced. Thereby, the processing load concerning the automatic switching between the EV mode and the HV mode is reduced, and the switching between the EV mode and the HV mode can be performed smoothly.
- At least one of travel time, travel speed, fuel consumption, and power consumption required for travel of the travel route from the departure point to the destination point of the vehicle 100 was calculated based on the integrated travel information.

- the basic configuration of the mobile information processing apparatus, the mobile information processing method, and the driving support system according to this embodiment is the same as that of the first embodiment, and the first embodiment is also shown in FIGS. Elements that are substantially the same as those in the above embodiment are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant descriptions are omitted.
- step S200 for example, when a destination point is set by the driver of the vehicle 100 and a travel route from the current point of the vehicle 100 to the destination point is searched, links or nodes included in the travel route
- the movement information associated with the ID is acquired from the movement information database 122 or the map information database 111.
- links Lk0 to Lk22 separated by successive nodes from the departure point Pa to the destination point Pb are acquired from the movement information database 122 or the map information database 111.
- the travel load of the travel route from the departure point Pa to the destination point Pb is, for example, a transition L1 indicated by a solid line, and the average value of the travel load of each link is a transition L2 indicated by a broken line. It has become.
- the transition L3 indicated by the alternate long and short dash line indicates a transition example when the fluctuations in the travel load of each link are smoothed.
- the link Lk0 where the vehicle 100 is located is used as a reference, and a management number of “0” is assigned to the link Lk0 used as the reference. Further, for example, a management number “n” is assigned to the link Lk1 subsequent to the link Lk0 that is the reference. In this example, the management number “n” is set to “1”.
- step S202 it is determined whether or not the travel load of the link Lk0 as the reference is equal to or greater than the load threshold value Pw and the link Lk0 is in a high load region. Subsequently, when the travel load of the link Lk0 is equal to or greater than the load threshold value Pw (step S202: YES), it is determined whether or not the travel load of the link Lk1 following the link Lk0 is equal to or greater than the load threshold value Pw. It is determined whether Lk1 is a high load region (step S203).
- the travel load determination target is updated to the link Lk2 subsequent to the link Lk1 (step S204).
- step S205 it is determined whether or not the link before the update, that is, the link Lk1 is a link including the destination point Pb (step S205).
- the link Lk1 does not include the destination point Pb as shown in FIG. 6 (step S205: NO). Therefore, it is subsequently determined whether or not the link Lk2 following the link Lk1 is equal to or higher than the load threshold Pw, that is, whether or not the link Lk2 is in a high load region (step S202: YES, S203). .
- step S202 YES, S203
- step S207 the travel loads of the links Lk0 to Lk7 are averaged to integrate the travel loads.
- the link Lk8 that is the beginning of the low load area is set as a reference link, and “1” is added to the management number “n”.
- the determination target of the load threshold Pw is updated from the link Lk8 to the link Lk9 that follows the link Lk8 (step S208).
- the travel loads from the link Lk8 to the link Lk14 are less than the load threshold value Pw, and the travel load of the link Lk15 following the link Lk14 is equal to or greater than the load threshold value Pw. Therefore, the travel loads of the links Lk8 to Lk14 are averaged to integrate the travel loads of the links Lk8 to Lk14 (step S207). Further, the reference link is updated from the link Lk8 to the link Lk15 having a traveling load equal to or higher than the load threshold value Pw (step S208).
- step S204 the value of the management number “n” before “1” is added in step S204 or step S208 is the number of the acquired travel load information, in other words, The number of links Lk0 to Lk22 included in the destination point Pb is reached from the departure point Pa (step S205: YES).
- step S206 the travel loads from the reference link to the link including the destination point Pb are integrated, and the process is terminated.
- step S206 When step S206 is reached in the order of step S207 ⁇ S208 ⁇ S205 (YES) ⁇ step S206, the travel loads from the reference link to the link including the destination point Pb are already integrated in step S207.
- the link Lk22 at the end of the section in which the traveling loads are integrated includes the destination point Pb. Therefore, under this condition, the process of step S206 is omitted.

It is only necessary to perform calculation using the information shown, and the processing load of the driving support unit 124 and the hybrid control device 108 is greatly reduced.
- the HV mode is assigned in the sections Sec1 and Sec3 where the traveling load is high, and the EV mode is assigned in the section Sec2 where the traveling load is low.
- the effects (1), (4) to (9) can be obtained, and the above (The following effects can be obtained instead of 2) and (3).
- the driving load was integrated based on the load threshold value Pw. For this reason, it is possible to integrate the driving loads in such a manner that the driving loads from the departure point to the destination point are classified into a high load region and a low load region. This makes it possible to integrate the movement information while classifying the movement information into a high load area and a low load area. This also makes it possible to assign the HV mode and the EV mode according to the classified high load region and low load region, and it becomes easy to assign and switch each mode according to the traveling load. Therefore, it is possible to perform the process of assigning the HV mode and the EV mode and the process of switching between the modes more smoothly.

- the amount of discharge may be suppressed in order to preserve the power of the storage battery. For this reason, even if the vehicle enters the chargeable section Sec2, in the section Sec2, for example, Soc becomes approximately “100%” during the travel of the link Lk9. Therefore, in the section Sec4 from the middle of the link Lk9 to the link Lk13, although the storage battery can be originally charged, the storage battery 110 cannot be charged because the storage battery 110 is already fully charged.
- the amount of discharge of the storage battery in other words, the amount of driving of the motor must be determined based on the traveling load of each link Lk0 to Lk20. Therefore, the calculation load of the motor drive amount increases in proportion to the number of links to the destination point Pb.
- the motor driving amount is calculated based on three traveling loads with each section Sec1 to Sec3 as a unit. Accordingly, the calculation load of the motor drive amount is greatly reduced.
