Abstract

Câble métallique (C-1) à trois couches (C1, C2, C3) de construction 3+M+N, gommé in situ, comportant une première couche ou couche centrale (C1) constituée de trois fils (10) de diamètre d1 assemblés en hélice selon un pas p1, couche centrale (C1) autour de laquelle sont enroulés en hélice selon un pas p2, en une deuxième couche (C2), M fils (11) de diamètre d2, deuxième couche autour de laquelle sont enroulés en hélice selon un pas p3, en une troisième couche (C3), N fils (12) de diamètre d3, ledit câble étant caractérisé en ce qu'il présente les caractéristiques suivantes (d1, d2, d3, p1, p2 et p3 étant exprimés en mm) : - 0,08 ≤ d1 ≤ 0,50; - 0,08 ≤ d2 ≤ 0,50; - 0,08 ≤ d3 ≤ 0,50; - 3 < p1 < 50; - 6 < p2 < 50; - 9 < p3 < 50; - sur toute longueur de câble égale à 3 cm, une composition de caoutchouc dite "gomme de remplissage" (13) est présente dans le canal central (14) délimité par les trois fils de la première couche (C1) ainsi que dans chacun des capillaires (15) délimités d'une part par les 3 fils de la première couche (C1) et les M fils de la deuxième couche (C2), d'autre part par les M fils de la deuxième couche (C2) et les N fils de la troisième couche (C3); - le taux de gomme de remplissage dans le câble est compris entre 10 et 50 mg par gramme de câble. Procédé de fabrication d'un tel câble. Câble multitorons dont au moins un des torons est un câble métallique (C-1) à trois couches gommé in situ, conforme à l'invention.
