Abstract

The invention pertains to the field of surgical instruments, devices, and methods, and more particularly relates to a nail (1) and a pin (9) positioned using an ancillary according to an associated method. According to one characteristic, the unitary nail for bone synthesis (1) includes a rod (2) with a head (3) at one end thereof, and is characterised in that the lower surface (4) of the head (3) defines a plane that forms, together with the longitudinal axis (x) of the rod (2), an angle of between 10 and 18 degrees modulo π.
