Abstract

The present invention consists of installing a means for preventing accidents due to closing doors and windows. The invention relates to a novel concept for manufacturing door and window frames. Previously manufactured doors and windows were designed in a manner not conducive to preventing accidents in which fingers were caught in the window and door frames, thus causing the fingers to be crushed after an accidental closing. Children are often the victims of said accidents. The present invention involves creating spaces on the door frame (spaces a, b, c, and d) and the window frame (spaces e and f) that are the same size as fingers in areas that present a high risk for children and a risk for adults. Said spaces are covered with shock absorbing materials (rubber, sponges, elastomers, and the like). Said spaces have an outlet for the fingers, where they are kept completely safe, without risk of injury, after the accidental closing of doors and windows.
