Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung, Reinigung und Verbrennung von Synthesegas zum Zwecke der Erzeugung von elektrischer Energie. Dabei wird das Synthesegas aus einem festen, kohlenstoffhaltigen Brennstoff mit einem sauerstoffhaltigen Gas erzeugt und durch eine Schlackeabscheidung und eine Alkalienabscheidung gereinigt. Nach dieser Reinigung gelangt das hergestellte Synthesegas in eine Expansionsturbine, wo die Druckenergie zur Erzeugung von Strom genutzt wird. Durch die Reinigung und Alkalienabscheidung wird die Expansionsturbine vor Korrosion und mechanischem Angriff geschützt. Das entspannte Synthesegas wird dann unter Druck verbrannt und die Verbrennung in einem Kombiprozess mit Gasturbine, Dampferzeugung und Dampfturbine zur Erzeugung von Strom genutzt. Der Prozess besitzt damit einen erhöhten Wirkungsgrad. Die Erfindung betrifft auch eine Vorrichtung, mit der sich das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren ausführen läßt.
