Abstract

【課題】 緻密で耐摩耗性を向上できる耐摩耗性磁器および摺動部材ならびにポンプを提供する。  【解決手段】 実質的にアルミナ結晶粒子と粒界相とからなる耐摩耗性磁器であって、開気孔率が0.1%以下であるとともに、アルミナ結晶粒子は、粒径10μm以上のアルミナ大径粒子1、粒径5μm以下のアルミナ小径粒子3を含有し、磁器表面におけるアルミナ大径粒子1の面積比率が35~65%の耐摩耗性磁器である。セラミック製部材が本発明の耐摩耗性磁器のアルミナ大径粒子表面を摺動することになり、摩耗を抑制することができるとともに、緻密質であり強度を向上できる。
