Abstract

　少なくとも表示部３を備える第１筐体１と、少なくとも第１操作部４ａ及び第２操作部４ｂを両側に備える第２筐体２とで構成し、第１筐体１及び第２筐体２の外形サイズを略等しくし、双方の筐体の略中心部に配置した回転軸５を中心に回転可能に連結する構造を採用する。これにより、持ち運び時や複雑な操作を必要としない場合には第２筐体２を収納することができ、第１筐体１の表示部３を大画面にしても携帯端末機全体のサイズをコンパクトにすることが可能となり、双方の筐体を回転させた状態では、操作部は第２筐体２の第１操作部４ａ及び第２操作部４ｂの２つ（又は第１筐体１の補助操作部３ａと第２筐体２の第１操作部４ａ及び第２操作部４ｂの３つ）に分かれるため、両手で保持して操作可能になる。
