Abstract

 送信装置は、リファレンス信号及びデータ信号が個々のサブキャリアにマッピングされた信号を逆フーリエ変換し、送信信号を作成する手段と、送信信号を無線送信する手段とを有する。あるタイムスロットで送信される信号に割り当てられる総電力と、別のタイムスロットで送信される信号に割り当てられる総電力とが等しく維持される。リファレンス信号の単位帯域当たりの電力密度は、データ信号の単位帯域当たりの電力密度より大きく設定される。各タイムスロットでの総送信電力が一定に維持されるので、電力増幅効率は高く維持される。しかもリファレンス信号は他の信号より強く送信されるので、チャネル推定精度も高く維持される。
