Description

Verkabelungssystem für Kraftfahrzeuge Wiring system for motor vehicles
The invention relates to a cabling system for motor vehicles according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
With an increasing number of electrical consumers in motor vehicles, the effort for the electrical wiring also increases accordingly. This already leads to considerable problems when laying the electrical supply lines during manufacture. However, these problems are exacerbated many times with a subsequent expansion and in the event of service. If, for example, the lighting, including the cables, is damaged in a traffic accident, then the wiring laid through the entire motor vehicle must be removed and the new wiring routed accordingly through the entire motor vehicle. It is therefore easy to see that sometimes small defects with low material costs cause a multiple of the costs due to the hours of work involved in the rescanning.
From DE 39 09 153 A1 a cabling system for retrofitting for motor vehicles is known, with a cable set with cables and / or cable harnesses with a fixed number of lines which are laid in the vehicle, at the ends of which there are detachable connections or transfer points for connecting modules or functional elements are provided, it is provided that a cable set for basic equipment, with which a fixed number of basic functions can be carried out, is also provided for additional functions, in that the cable set for the basic equipment provides lines which are at fixed predetermined transfer points between plugs and Guide modules in the vehicle and are essentially intended for directly switched circuits, and which are prepared for use as control or power supply lines when installing additional functional elements in such a way that the power supply lines for energy transmission are so overdimensioned are ionized that the maximum, predictable energy requirement for additional modules or functional elements at the transfer points is ensured that for the use of lines as Power supply lines or control lines are essentially used only lines of the basic equipment, and that the control lines are already provided as bus lines for the information transfer in the basic equipment, which enable the functions that can be performed to be multiplied. However, the known cabling system is not a solution to the problem described above when replacing components.
The invention is therefore based on the technical problem of creating a cabling system by means of which the cabling can be installed, modified and replaced simply and clearly.
The solution to the technical problem results from the features of claim 1. Further advantageous refinements of the invention result from the subclaims.
By segmenting the cabling system in segments, with at least one interface module being arranged between the segments, and combining the cables into at least one sub-line, each sub-line being connected to the interface module via an electrical plug connection, the composition of a sub-line can be defined from segment to segment according to functional and / or strategic considerations, on the one hand the cabling system can be designed very clearly and on the other hand individual vehicle parts with cabling can be exchanged very easily, since only the segmental sub-strands need to be replaced.
In a preferred embodiment, the interface module is designed as a control unit and / or regeneration amplifier. The electrical connector is preferably designed as an aircraft connector with a single pin assignment and rotary lock, which significantly increases the reliability of the cabling system, since accidental interruptions, especially during the operation of the motor vehicle, must be excluded. Therefore, the technology that has proven itself in aircraft technology is used here.
The interface modules are preferably arranged in such a way that they are easily accessible from the outside, which is a good option both for initial assembly and for customer service better handling allowed. Furthermore, an interface module is preferably assigned to heavy wear and / or vehicle parts at risk of accidents, so that the replacement effort is minimized if these parts are damaged.
The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of a preferred exemplary embodiment. The single figure shows a schematic partial representation of a cabling system.
The cabling system 1 comprises a multiplicity of electrical components 11-20 distributed locally over the motor vehicle, wherein for example the components 11-15 are arranged in the front left motor vehicle region and the components 16-20 in the front right motor vehicle region. Furthermore, the cabling system 1 comprises a large number of interface modules 21-24. The cables 31-35 of the components 11-15 and the cables 36-40 of the components 36-40 are each combined to form a partial strand 41, 42. At the ends of the partial strands 41, 42 are formed with an electrical plug connector, which in each case forms an electrical plug connection with a plug connector 43 of the interface module 21. The cables 31-40 thus applied to the interface module 21 are then combined into new sub-strands 44-46, which are electrically connected to the interface module 21 via electrical connectors 47. For example, all lighting components are combined in the sub-branch 44 and are led to the interface module 23. Likewise, a partial strand 48 is led from other electrical components to the interface module 23. The two partial strands 44, 48 originating from different segments are then combined in the interface module 23 and depart from the latter as a single partial strand 49. This partial strand 49 is then led, for example, to a control unit for the lighting. The interface modules 21-24 have the function of a gate or, if necessary, a regeneration amplifier, i.e. amplify incoming signals.
If, for example, the left fender with the electrical components 11-15 is damaged in a traffic accident, so that these have to be replaced, this has, in contrast to the prior art, only effects on the partial strand 41 from the interface Module 21 be solved, the new components 11-15 installed and plugged back into the interface module 21. This, in turn, can be done in a modular manner, ie the spare part as such comprises all electrical components 11-15, including sub-strand 41.
Another advantage of the cabling system 1 is its clarity. If the lighting is defective, the functionality of the sub-strands can be checked segment by segment in customer service cases.
