HENRY R. FRISIZIE, OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY.
DESIGN FOR A VALVE-WHEEL.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 24,075, dated February 26, 1895.
Application filed January 25, 1895. Serial No. 536,273. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom, it may concern.-
Be it known that I, HENRY R. FRIsBIE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Valve-Wheels; and I do hereby decla e the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains tomake and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to letters of reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
Referring to said drawings, Figure 1, is a plan View of a valve Wheel showing my design, and Fig. 2 is a section taken through line as, of said Fig. 1; these Views being deemed sufficient to fully illustrate the design.
The leading feature of my design consists in the peculiar formation or configuration of the rim of the wheel, which will be understood upon reference to the drawings.
In said drawings A, is the rim; B, the center or hub, and C, the spokes of the wheel. The spokes as Well as the rim are generally round in cross-section, the whole being integral; the outer and inner surfaces of the annular rim 13, being uniformly round and the front and rear surfaces thereof being formed into alternating and uniform concave and convex portions; the concave portions on one side being opposite to the convex portions on the other and vice versa as shown.
\Vhat I claim is The design for a valve wheel herein shown and described.
