IMPROVEMENT IN HORSESHOES.p
Specification forming part of LettershPatentvNo. 80,213, dated July 21, 1868.
To all whom 'it may concern:
Be it known that I, ISAAC R. POTTER, of Dartmouth, in the county of Bristol, in the State of Massachusetts, have invented a new shoes with raised edges and studs, and with movable calks, made in such manner that, when applied, the bearing-edge will be ilush with the wall of the hoof, and in making the calks whole or in parts, with the edge continuous or indented.
Figure 1 is a perspective view of the shoe complete. Fig. 2 is a view of the shoe With one calk removed. Fig. 3 is a view of calk removed from shoe.

In this'invention I do not claim any device previously invented or patented for horseshoe 5 but the bearing-edge will be iiush with the Wall of y the hoof.
