The rotary carrier is herein shown as a sheet carrying cylinder 1, provided with sheet grippers 2, the shaft 3 of which cylinder is suitably mounted in the frame 4.
The endless belt 5 passes around the drive roll 6, the idler roll 7 and the belt tightener roll 8 and underneath thebfl'set powder applying roll 9. These rolls are all suitably mounted in the frame 4 and the rolls 7 and 8 are so arranged as to cause'the endless belt 5 to have an extended contact with the freshly printed side of the sheet on the carrier.
The anti-oflset'powder supply fountain is denoted by 10 and its roll 11 is arranged in position to transfer the anti-offset powder to the roll 9, which latter roll is provided with a cover of fabric, such, for instance as felt, pile fabric and the like.
