Изобретение касается контейнера для хранения радиоактивных отходов, пригодного для продолжительного и надежного захоронения отходов, с влагонепроницаемой и коррозиестойкой графитовой матрицей и с отходами, помещенными в металлическую оболочку, вставляемую в матрицу. Кроме того, изобретение касается способа изготовления такого контейнера.
