Abstract

A tail-end lift for a vehicle 2 has a loading platform 9 which, with a manoeuvring device 7, can be switched between a vertical position along the rear wall 5 of the vehicle and a horizontal position in which the loading platform 9 can be raised and lowered for transporting goods between the vehicle's loading area 3 and the ground surface 1, or vice versa. In the vertical position, the loading platform 9 closes a rear opening 6 in the loading hold 4 of the vehicle 2. The loading platform 9 has hollow beams arranged along opposite edges, which beams are connected to each other via plates arranged at a distance from each other. The spaces between the plates and preferably also the cavities of the beams are filled with a heat-insulating material. <IMAGE>
