Abstract
An electromagnetic separator according to the invention contains chambers 1 which are filled with ferromagnetic packing 2, and electromagnets 3, which consist of a core 5 with windings. These cores form a closed magnetic circuit together with the ferromagnetic packing. The end sections of the core or the whole core is made of magnetically hard material.
