Abstract

염욕 조성물은 질화된 철금속 단편을 포함하여 철금속 단편의 표면상의 자철광 Fe3O4의 층을 형성시켜서 부식에 대하여 밑에 있는 철을 보호하는데 사용된다. 이 층은 진한 흑색과 1000mV 이상의 부식 전위로 나타내는 바와 같이 불투과성이며 좋은 결정 정도를 갖는다. 조성물은 적어도 질산음이온과 나트륨 및 리튬양이온을 포함하며 후자는 욕에 관하여 중량비로 0.1% 내지 5% 사이, 바람직하게는 0.5% 내지 1.75% 사이이다.
바람직한 조성물은 다음 백분율 범위내에서 나트륨, 칼륨 및 리튬 양이온과 질산,탄산 및 히드록실 음이온을 함유한다.

산화처리의 이례적인 신뢰성과는 별도로, 나트륨 및 칼륨과 질산 또는 탄산 음이온과 결합된 리튬의 존재는 욕내 탄산염 함유 슬러지의 형성을 감소시키는데, 아마도 조성물이 저 융점을 갖는 질산염 또는 탄산염의 삼원 혼합물을 형성하기 때문일 것이다.

Claims (6)

  1. 내식성을 증가시키기 위하여 질화된 철금속 단편을 포함한 철금속 단편의 320℃ 내지 550℃ 사이의 온도에서 실행되는 표면산화처리를 위하여 적어도 질산 음이온과 나트륨 양이온, 적당한 칼륨 알칼리 양이온과, 욕의 질량에 관한 중량비로 0.1% 내지 5% 사이에서 나트륨 도는 칼륨 양이온과 치환된 리튬 양이온을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 염욕 조성물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 리튬 양이온의 중량 농도는 0.5% 내지 1.75% 사이인 것을 특징으로 하는 염욕 조성물.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 알칼리 금속 양이온과 화학양론적 평형이며 욕의 활성 또는 액체 질량에 관하여 다음:
    8.5 ≤CO3 2-≤26
    15 ≤NO3≤41.5
    4.7 ≤OH-≤21.5
    의 백분율 범위내에서 탄산 음이온 CO3 2-, 질산 NO3 -음이온 및 히드록실 OH-음이온의 중량비로 질산 음이온, 탄산 및 히드록실 음이온을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 염욕 조성물.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상당한 중량 농도의 칼륨 양이온을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 염욕 조성물.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 다음:
    9×Li+< CO3 2-<11×Li+
    2.7×Li+< K+< 3.2×Li+
    과 같이 리튬 Li+양이온의 중량 농도에 관하여 탄산 CO3 2-음이온과 칼륨 K+양이온의 중량 농도를 함유하며, 나트륨 농도가 화학양론적인 것을 특징으로 하는 염욕 조성물.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 다음:
    30×Li+< NO3 +< 36×Li+
    10×Li+< K+< 12.5×Li+
    과 같이 리튬 Li+양이온의 중량 농도에 관하여 질산 NO3 -음이온과 칼륨 K+양이온의 중량 농도를 함유하며, 나트륨 농도는 화학 양론적인 것을 특징으로 하는 염욕 조성물.
