본 비트스트림 데이터 전송장치 및 방법은 동영상 및 오디오 복호시스템에 있어서 비트스트림 데이터를 전송하는 버퍼의 꽉참표시(Full Flag)또는 빈 표시(Empty Flag)상태에 따라 버퍼 충만도를 체크하여 데이터전송률을 조절하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 장치는 인가되는 비트스트림 데이터를 전송하기 위한 입력용 선입선출버퍼수단; 인가되는 비트스트림 데이터가 비디오데이터인 경우, 전송제어를 하는 선입선출버퍼수단; 인가되는 비트스트림 데이터가 오디오 데이터인 경우, 전송제어를 하는 오디오용선입선출버퍼수단; 입력용 선입선출버퍼수단 및 비디오용 선입선출버퍼수단, 오디오용 선입선출버퍼수단에 대한 플래그 상태를 검출하기 위한 플레그 검출수단; 비디오 데이터와 오디오데이타에 대하여 각각 소정의 영억을 할당하여 기록하고 읽기 위한 메모리; 플래그 검출수단에서 출력되는 검출 결과값에 따라 입력용 선이선출버퍼수단과 메모리, 비디오용 선입선출버퍼수단, 오디오용 선입선출버퍼수단을 제어하는 마이크로 프로세서를 포함하도록 구성된다.This bitstream data transmission apparatus and method adjusts the data transmission rate by checking buffer fullness according to a full flag or empty flag state of a buffer for transmitting bitstream data in a video and audio decoding system.
