Abstract
본 발명의 일 실시예에 의한 리튬 이차 전지용 양극 활물질은 하기 화학식 1로 표현되고, X선 회절분석 결과에 따른 I(003)/(104) 값이 1.13 내지 1.27 이다.

(상기 화학식 1에서, 1.0≤a≤1.1이고, 0.8≤b<1.0이고, 0≤c≤0.2이고, 0≤d≤0.2이고, 0≤e≤0.05이고, b+c+d+e=1.0이며, 도핑 원소인 M은 Zr, Al, Mg, Ti, B, Si, P 또는 이들의 조합을 포함한다.)

Claims (13)
- 하기 화학식 1로 표현되고,
X선 회절분석 결과에 따른 I(003)/(104) 값이 1.13 내지 1.27 이고,
I(006+102)/(101) 값은 0.53 내지 0.63 이고,
상기 양극 활물질은 코팅층을 더 포함하고,
상기 코팅층은 보론, 보론 산화물, 리튬 보론 산화물 또는 이들의 조합을 포함하는 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 양극 활물질:

Lia[NibCocMndMe]O2
상기 화학식 1에서, 1.0≤a≤1.1이고, 0.8≤b<1.0이고, 0<c≤0.2이고, 0<d≤0.2이고, 0<e≤0.05이고, b+c+d+e=1.0이며, 도핑 원소인 M은 Al이다.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 I(003)/(104)는 1.13 내지 1.17 인 리튬 이차 전지용 양극 활물질.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 I(006+102)/(101)는 0.55 내지 0.60 인 리튬 이차 전지용 양극 활물질.
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 양극 활물질은 하기 식 1을 만족하는 리튬 이차 전지용 양극 활물질.

0.42 ≤ [I(006+102)/(101)]/[I(003)/(104)] ≤ 0.56
- 제1항에 있어서,
상기 양극 활물질의 입경은 3 내지 20 ㎛ 인 리튬 이차 전지용 양극 활물질.
- 금속 수산화물 전구체 입자를 준비하는 단계;
상기 전구체 입자, 리튬 원료 물질 및 도핑 원료 물질을 혼합하여 혼합물을 제조하는 단계;
상기 혼합물을 소성하여 리튬 금속 산화물을 수득하는 단계; 및
상기 리튬 금속 산화물에 코팅 원료 물질을 혼합 후 소성하여 코팅층을 형성시키는 단계;
를 포함하고,
상기 소성은 상기 혼합물을 300 내지 500 ℃의 온도로 1차 소성 후, 700 내지 800 ℃의 온도로 2차 소성하는 것이고,
상기 수득된 리튬 금속 산화물은 X선 회절분석 결과에 따른 I(003)/(104) 값이 1.13 내지 1.27 이고, I(006+102)/(101) 값은 0.53 내지 0.63 인 리튬 이차 전지용 양극 활물질의 제조 방법이되,
상기 수득된 리튬 금속 산화물은 하기 화학식 1로 표현되고,
상기 코팅층은 보론, 보론 산화물, 리튬 보론 산화물 또는 이들의 조합을 포함하는 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 양극 활물질의 제조 방법:

- 제6항에 있어서,
상기 전구체 입자는 하기 화학식 2로 표현되는 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 양극 활물질의 제조 방법:

상기 화학식 2에서, 0.8≤x<1.0, 0≤y≤0.2, 0≤z≤0.2, x+y+z=1.0 이다.
- 제6항에 있어서,
상기 리튬 원료 물질은 Li2CO3, LiOH, C2H3LiO2, LiNO3, Li2SO4, Li2SO3, Li2O, Li2O2, LiCl로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 1종 이상인 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 양극 활물질의 제조방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,
상기 도핑 원료 물질은 Al인 리튬 이차 전지용 양극 활물질의 제조방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,
상기 1차 소성 시간은 1시간 내지 2시간인 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 양극 활물질의 제조 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,
상기 2차 소성 시간은 9시간 내지 13시간인 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 양극 활물질의 제조 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서,
상기 2차 소성은 760 내지 780 ℃의 범위에서 이루어지는 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 양극 활물질의 제조 방법.
- 양극;
음극; 및
상기 양극과 음극 사이에 위치하는 전해질을 포함하고,
상기 양극은 제1항에 따른 양극 활물질을 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지.
