상기 제1 연장 스트립과 상기 제2 연장 스트립 사이에 하나 이상의 필러를 더 포함하고, 상기 필러는 비드 형태인 건조제를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 스페이서. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 제1 연장 스트립과 상기 제2 연장 스트립 사이에 하나 이상의 필러를 더 포함하고, 상기 건조제는 매트릭스 재료인 것을 특징으로 하는 스페이서. - 제1 투명 재료;
제2 투명 재료; 및
상기 제1 및 제2 투명 재료들 사이에 배치되는 스페이서 조립체를 포함하고,
상기 스페이서 조립체는,
상기 제1 투명 재료에 인접한 제1 측면 및 상기 제2 투명 재료에 인접한 제2 측면을 갖는 제1 연장 스트립;
상기 제1 투명 재료에 인접한 제1 측면 및 상기 제2 투명 재료에 인접한 제2 측면을 갖는 제2 연장 스트립; 및
상기 제1 연장 스트립을 상기 제2 연장 스트립에 연결하는 하나 이상의 측벽을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 밀폐 유닛 조립체. - 제20항에 있어서,
상기 스페이서 조립체, 상기 제1 투명 재료, 및 상기 제2 투명 재료는 그 사이에 내부 공간을 형성하고, 상기 내부 공간 내에 가스가 배치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 조립체. - 제21항에 있어서,
상기 가스는 공기, 산소, 질소, 아르곤, 크립톤, 또는 이들의 혼합물을 포함하는 건조 가스를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조립체. - 제21항에 있어서,

압출 노즐을 통해 재료를 압출 성형하여 하나 이상의 측벽을 형성하는 단계; 및
재료를 상기 제1 연장 스트립의 상기 제1 표면과 상기 제2 연장 스트립의 상기 제2 표면에 제공하도록, 압출하는 동안 상기 제1 및 제2 연장 스트립들에 대하여 상기 압출 노즐을 이동시켜, 상기 제1 및 제2 연장 스트립들을 연결하는 단계를 포함하는 스페이서 제조 방법. - 제24항에 있어서,
상기 재료는 플라스틱인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법. - 제24항에 있어서,
상기 측벽은 복수의 측벽 부분들을 포함하고, 각각의 측벽 부분은 인접한 측벽 부분으로부터 소정 거리로 이격되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법. - 돌출부를 포함하는 제1 측벽 부분을 제1 연장 스트립 상에 형성하는 단계; 및

상기 돌출부를 상기 노치부 내로 삽입함으로써 상기 제1 측벽 부분을 상기 제2 측벽 부분에 연결하는 단계를 더 포함하는 방법. - 제27항에 있어서,
상기 제1 및 제2 연장 스트립들은 파형을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법. - 제27항에 있어서,
상기 형성 단계는 압출 성형을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법. - 제27항에 있어서,

상기 제1 체결 메커니즘은 상기 제2 체결 메커니즘과 안전하게 결합되도록 배치되고 구성되어, 상기 제1 측벽 부분을 상기 제2 측벽 부분에 연결하는 것을 특징으로 하는 스페이서. - 제32항에 있어서,
상기 제1 측벽 부분은 연속적인 측벽 부분이고, 상기 제2 측벽 부분은 연속적인 측벽 부분인 것을 특징으로 하는 스페이서. - 제32항에 있어서,

상기 제2 체결 메커니즘은 스플라인을 포함하며,
상기 노치부는, 상기 스플라인이 상기 제1 측벽 부분을 상기 제2 측벽 부분에 연결하도록 상기 노치부의 내부에 삽입될 때, 스플라인을 안전하게 결합하도록 크기가 정해진 것을 특징으로 하는 스페이서. - 제32항에 있어서,
상기 제1 및 제2 체결 메커니즘들이 결합되지 않을 때, 상기 제1 및 제2 연장 스트립들은 상기 제1 및 제2 체결 메커니즘들이 결합될 때 보다 더 큰 유연성을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 스페이서. - 제36항에 있어서,
상기 제1 및 제2 체결 메커니즘들이 결합될 때, 상기 제1 및 제2 연장 스트립들은 실질적으로 단단한 것을 특징으로 하는 스페이서.
