Claims (6)
- 처리액 중의 하나 이상의 가이드 롤로서 광폭 롤을 사용하고, 하기의 수학식 1로 구하는 광폭 롤이 갖는 최대 광폭량 β와 하기의 수학식 2로 구하는 필름이 광폭 롤에 접촉하는 사이의 필름의 폭 방향의 팽창량 γ와의 관계가 (a) β>γ가 되는 위치에 광폭 롤을 배치하고(하거나) (b) β> γ가 되는 형상의 광폭 롤을 사용하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 폴리비닐알코올계 필름을 팽윤 처리, 염색 처리, 붕산 처리 및 수세 처리의 순으로 처리하고, 붕산 처리 공정 및(또는) 그 전의 공정에서 일축 연신을 행하는 편광 필름의 제조 방법.<수학식 1>β=B1×α×r/R식 중, B1은 광폭 롤에 접촉하는 필름 폭, α는 광폭 롤의 접촉각, r는 광폭 롤의 반경, R은 광폭 롤의 곡률 반경을 나타낸다.<수학식 2>γ=0.2055×B1×{exp(-0.0273×θ1)-exp(-0.0273×θ)}식 중, B1은 상기와 동일하고, θ는 필름이 광폭 롤을 떠나기까지의 액 중의 주행시간, θ1은 필름이 광폭 롤에 접촉하기까지의 액 중의 주행시간을 나타낸다.
- 제1항에 있어서, 광폭 롤이 스폰지 고무 롤이고, 그 스폰지의 경도가 JIS 쇼어 C 스케일로 20 내지 60도, 밀도가 0.4 내지 0.6 g/cm3, 및 표면 거칠기가 10 내지 30 S인 편광 필름의 제조 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 광폭 롤을 팽윤 처리액 중에 배치하는 편광 필름의 제조 방법.
- 제1항 내지 제3항에 기재된 방법으로 제조된 편광 필름의 한 면 이상에 보호 필름이 접합되어 이루어지는 편광판.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 보호 필름이 위상차 필름, 휘도 향상 필름, 시야각 개량 필름 및 반투과 반사 필름 중 어느 하나의 기능을 구비하고 있는 편광판.
- 제4항의 편광판과, 위상차 필름, 휘도 향상 필름, 시야각 개량 필름 및 반투과 반사 필름으로부터 선택되는 1종 이상이 접합되어 이루어지는 광학 적층체.
