Description
Claims (16)
- 하나의 화소 내에 반사부와 투과부를 구비하고, 노멀리 블랙 모드를 채용한 액정 표시 장치로서,액정의 배향 모드가 트위스트 배향이고, 시인면 측에는 편광판과 1장의 위상차판을 구비하고, 배면 측에는 편광판을 구비하고 있는, 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 투과부의 갭(dt)과 상기 반사부의 갭(dr)과의 비(dt/dr)가 1.7≤dt/dr≤2.05의 관계를 만족하는, 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,트위스트각이 30도 이상 60도 이하인, 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,트위스트각이 30도 이상 60도 이하인, 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 시인면 측의 위상차판의 파장 550nm에서의 위상차 값이 310nm 이상인, 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 시인면 측의 위상차판의 파장 550nm에서의 위상차 값이 310nm 이상인, 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 시인면 측의 위상차판의 파장 550nm에서의 위상차 값이 310nm 이상인, 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 시인면 측의 위상차판에 있어서, 위상차판의 연신 방향의 굴절율을 nx, 연신 방향과 수직 방향의 굴절율을 ny, 위상차판면에 대하여 법선 방향의 굴절율을 nz로 하고, 다음 식으로 표현되는 값을 Nz로 하였을 때,Nz=(nx-nz)/(nx-ny)Nz의 값이 0≤Nz≤0.5인 관계를 만족하는, 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 시인면 측의 위상차판에 있어서, 위상차판의 연신 방향의 굴절율을 nx, 연신 방향과 수직 방향의 굴절율을 ny, 위상차판면에 대하여 법선 방향의 굴절율을 nz로 하고, 다음 식으로 표현되는 값을 Nz로 하였을 때,Nz=(nx-nz)/(nx-ny)Nz의 값이 0≤Nz≤0.5의 관계를 만족하는, 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 시인면 측의 위상차판에 있어서, 위상차판의 연신 방향의 굴절율을 nx, 연신 방향과 수직 방향의 굴절율을 ny, 위상차판면에 대하여 법선 방향의 굴절율을 nz로 하고, 다음 식으로 표현되는 값을 Nz로 하였을 때,Nz=(nx-nz)/(nx-ny)Nz의 값이 0≤Nz≤0.5의 관계를 만족하는, 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 투과부와 반사부의 경계 형상에 있어서, 적어도 1개의 변이 직선 이외의 형상인, 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 투과부와 반사부의 경계 형상에 있어서, 적어도 1개의 변이 직선 이외의 형상인, 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 투과부와 반사부의 경계 형상에 있어서, 적어도 1개의 변이 직선 이외의 형상인, 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 투과부와 반사부의 경계 형상에 있어서, 적어도 1개의 변이 직선 이외의 형상인, 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 9 항에 있어서,상기 투과부와 반사부의 경계 형상에 있어서, 적어도 1개의 변이 직선 이외의 형상인, 액정 표시 장치.
- 제 10 항에 있어서,상기 투과부와 반사부의 경계 형상에 있어서, 적어도 1개의 변이 직선 이외의 형상인, 액정 표시 장치.
