Claims (11)
- 데이터신호의 극성이 도트 단위로 반전되게 구동하는 도트 인버젼 액정표시패널에 있어서,다수의 게이트라인들 및 데이터라인들과;상기 게이트라인들과 데이터라인들의 교차영역마다 형성된 액정셀들과;상기 게이트라인들과 나란하게 형성된 다수의 공통전압 라인들을 구비하고;상기 액정셀들 각각은,액정을 사이에 둔 화소전극과 공통전극으로 구성된 액정 캐패시터와;절연막을 사이에 둔 상기 화소전극과 이전단 게이트라인으로 구성된 제1 스토리지 캐패시터와;상기 절연막을 사이에 둔 상기 화소전극과 인접한 수평라인에 포함되는 공통전압 라인으로 구성된 제2 스토리지 캐패시터를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 게이트라인들과 데이터라인들의 교차부마다 형성되어 상기 액정셀을 구동하기 위한 박막트랜지스터를 추가로 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 절연막을 사이에 둔 화소전극과 해당 수평라인의 공통전압라인으로 구성된 제3 스토리지 캐패시터를 추가로 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제2 스토리지 캐패시터는상기 절연막을 사이에 둔 상기 화소전극과 다음단 수평라인에 포함되는 공통전압라인으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제2 스토리지 캐패시터는상기 절연막을 사이에 둔 상기 화소전극과 이전단 수평라인에 포함되는 공통전압라인으로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 제2 스토리지 캐패시터는해당 수평라인에 공급되는 데이터신호의 평균레벨에 따라 발생되는 공통전압 리플과 상반된 극성의 공통전압 리플을 공급하여 상기 공통전압 리플을 상쇄시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널.
- 데이터신호의 극성이 도트 단위로 반전되게 구동하는 도트 인버젼 액정표시패널의 구동 방법에 있어서,임의의 수평기간에 수평방향으로 인접한 데이터신호와 상반된 극성을 갖는 다수개의 데이터 신호들을 공급하는 단계와;상기 데이터 신호들의 평균레벨에 따라 발생되는 공통전압 리플의 크기가 해당 수평라인의 액정셀들 각각에서 화소전극과 인접한 수평라인에 포함되는 공통전압 라인 사이에 형성되는 스토리지 캐패시터에 의해 감쇄되게 하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널의 구동 방법.
- 제 7 항에 있어서,상기 스토리지 캐패시터는 상기 공통전압 리플과 상반된 극성을 가지는 공통전압 리플을 공급하여 감쇄되게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널의 구동 방법.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 스토리지 캐패시터는 상기 화소전극과 다음단 수평라인에 포함되는 공통전압 라인 사이에 형성되어 상반된 극성의 공통전압 리플을 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널의 구동 방법.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 스토리지 캐패시터는 상기 화소전극과 이전단 수평라인에 포함되는 공통전압 라인 사이에 형성되어 상반된 극성의 공통전압 리플을 공급하는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널의 구동 방법.
- 제 8 항에 있어서,상기 공통전압 리플은 수평기간 단위로 해당 수평라인에 공급되는 데이터신호의 평균레벨에 따라 극성이 반전되는 것을 특징으로 하는 액정표시패널의 구동 방법.
