Claims (7)
- 실린더헤드(1)에 연료분사노즐(2)과 그로우 플러그(3)를 설치한 직접분사식 디젤엔진에 있어서,실린더 중앙부(4)에 연료분사노즐(2)의 선단을 면하게 하고, 연료분사노즐(2)과 흡기포트(5) 사이의 흡기포트 벽부분(6)에 그로우 플러그(3)를 관통시켜, 상기 그로우 플러그(3)를 연료분사노즐(2)에 대하여 소정각도(θ1) 만큼 기울여 그 선단부를 실린더 중앙부(4)에 끼워넣은 것을 특징으로 하는 직접분사식 디젤엔진.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,흡기포트(5)로서 스월(swirl) 흡기포트를 사용하는데 있어,흡기밸브구(10a)(10b) 부근의 상기 흡기포트 벽 부분(6)의 내 벽면(8)을, 실린더(21)에 근접함에 따라 실린더 중심축선(7)에 근접하도록 경사시켜서 상기 내벽면(8)을 그로우 플러그(3)의 경사에 맞추고, 상기 내벽벽(8)의 대향벽면(8a)을 실린더 중심선축(7)과 평행한 방향에 따라 세우며, 이들 벽면(8)(8a) 사이에 흡기밸브구(10a)(10b)를 향해서 폭이 넓어지는 쐐기형 포트부분(5a)을 형성한 것을 특징으로 하는 직접분사식 디젤엔진.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 흡기포트 벽부분(6)으로부터 팽출(膨出)된 노즐보스(6a)에 연료분사노즐(2)을 삽입 관통시킨 것을 특징으로 하는 직접분사식 디젤엔진.
- 제 1항에 있어서,흡기포트(5)와 배기포트(11) 사이에 포트간 횡단수로(12)를 형성하고, 상기 포트간 횡단수로(12)에 그로우 플러그(3)를 관통시킨 흡기포트 벽부분(6)을 면하게 한 것을 특징으로 하는 직접분사식 디젤엔진.
- 제 4항에 있어서,포트간 횡단수로(12)를 통과하는 냉각수가 흡기분배수단(13) 쪽으로부터 배기합류수단(14) 쪽을 향하도록 한 것을 특징으로 하는 직접분사식 디젤엔진.
- 제 1항에 있어서,실린더 헤드(1)에 장착된 헤드커버(15)의 외벽(16)에 그로우 플러그(3)의 단부를 관통시키고, 그로우 플러그(3)의 단자를 헤드 커버(15) 바깥으로 돌출시킨 것을 특징으로 하는 직접분사식 디젤엔진.
- 제 6항에 있어서,실린더 중심축선(7)과 평행한 방향에서 보아, 헤드커버(15)의 천정에 설치하는 브리저실(breather chamber)(20)을 크랭크축 중심축선(17)의 한 쪽으로 치우치게 하여, 각 흡기포트(5)마다에 2개의 흡기밸브구(10a)(10b)를 설치, 상기 흡기밸브구(10a)(10b) 사이의 흡기포트 벽 부분(6)에 그로우 플러그(3)를 관통시키는데 있어서,실린더 중심축선(7)과 평행한 방향에서 보아, 2개의 흡기밸브구(10a)(10b)의 각 중심점을 연결하는 가상연결선(18)을, 크랭크축 중심축선(17)과 직교하는 자세로부터, 실린더 중심축선(7)을 중심으로 하여 소정각도(θ2)만큼 회전시키는 것에 의해, 그로우 플러그(3)를 브리저실(20)의 한쪽으로 치우친 방향과는 역방향으로 어긋나게 한 것을 특징으로 하는 직접분사식 디젤엔진.
