Claims (20)
- 영상을 표시하는 표시 부재; 및
상기 표시 부재에 광을 제공하는 백라이트 유닛을 포함하고,
상기 표시 부재는,
베이스 기판;
상기 베이스 기판 상에 배치되어 제1 방향으로 연장되고, 각각이 상기 베이스 기판으로부터 이격되어 상기 제1 방향에서 서로 인접하는 제1 공동 및 제2 공동을 정의하는 복수의 부분들을 포함하는 커버층;
상기 제1 공동 및 상기 제2 공동 각각에 대응되어 배치되는 제1 표시 소자 및 제2 표시 소자;
상기 커버층 상부에 배치되고 상기 제1 공동에 중첩하고, 입사되는 광을 제1 색 광으로 변환시키는 제1 필터, 및 상기 제2 공동에 중첩하고 입사되는 광을 제2 색 광으로 변환시키는 제2 필터를 포함하는 컬러 변환 필터; 및
상기 컬러 변환 필터 및 상기 커버층 사이에 배치되고 입사되는 광을 색상에 따라 선택적으로 투과 또는 반사시키는 광학 부재를 포함하는 표시장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,

상기 광학 부재는,
소정의 투과축을 가진 편광층; 및
상기 편광층 상에 배치되고 입사되는 광 중 상기 제1 색을 가진 광 및 상기 제2 색을 가진 광은 반사시키고, 상기 제3 색을 가진 광은 투과시키는 선택적 투과 반사층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치. - 제6 항에 있어서,
상기 표시 부재 및 상기 백라이트 유닛 사이에 배치되고, 상기 편광층의 투과축과 직교하는 방향의 투과축을 가진 편광 부재를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치. - 제6 항에 있어서,
상기 선택적 투과 반사층은,
각각이 제1 굴절률을 가진 복수의 제1 절연막; 및
각각이 상기 제1 굴절률과 상이한 제2 굴절률을 가진 복수의 제2 절연막을 포함하고,
상기 제1 절연막들과 상기 제2 절연막들은 교번하여 적층된 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치. - 제8 항에 있어서,
상기 선택적 투과 반사층은 10㎛ 이하의 두께를 가진 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치. - 제6 항에 있어서,
상기 선택적 투과 반사층은 콜레스테릭 액정 필름 또는 광 결정 필름인 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 복수의 부분들 각각은, 상기 제1 방향과 교차하는 제2 방향의 일단부로부터 타단부까지 상기 베이스 기판으로부터 이격된 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치. - 제11 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 공동 및 상기 제2 공동 각각은 상기 제2 방향으로 연장된 터널 형상인 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치. - 제12 항에 있어서,
상기 제1 공동 및 상기 제2 공동 각각에는 액정이 충전되고,
상기 제1 표시 소자 및 상기 제2 표시 소자 각각은 액정 커패시터인 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치. - 제13 항에 있어서,
상기 표시 부재는, 상기 커버층의 내면에 배치되고 상기 제1 공동 및 상기 제2 공동 내에 제공된 배향막을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치. - 제1 항에 있어서,
상기 컬러 변환 필터는 복수의 양자점들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치. - 제15 항에 있어서,
상기 양자점들은,
상기 제1 필터에 포함된 복수의 제1 입자들; 및
상기 제2 필터에 포함된 복수의 제2 입자들을 포함하고,
상기 제1 입자들 각각의 입자 크기는 제2 입자들 각각의 입자 크기와 상이한 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치. - 제1 색 광을 제공하는 백라이트 유닛;
상기 제1 색 광을 수신하고 복수의 화소들을 포함하는 패널 부재;
상기 패널 부재 상부에 배치되고 입사되는 광 중 상기 제1 색 광은 반사시키고, 상기 제1 색과 상이한 제2 색 광은 투과시키는 광학 부재; 및
상기 광학 부재 상에 배치되고, 복수의 양자점들을 포함하는 컬러 변환 필터를 포함하고,
상기 패널 부재에는 상기 화소들 각각에 대응되는 복수의 공동들이 정의되고, 상기 공동들 각각에는 액정이 충전된 표시장치. - 제17 항에 있어서,
상기 광학 부재는,
일 방향으로 진동하는 광을 투과시키는 편광층;
상기 편광층 상에 배치되고, 각각이 제1 굴절률을 가진 복수의 제1 절연막들; 및
상기 편광층 상에 배치되고, 각각이 제2 굴절률을 가지며, 상기 제1 절연막들과 교번하여 적층된 복수의 제2 절연막들을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치. - 제18 항에 있어서,
상기 패널 부재는, 매트릭스 형상으로 배열되어 각각에 액정이 충전된 복수의 공동들을 포함하고,
상기 컬러 변환 필터는 상기 공동들 각각에 대응하는 복수의 필터들 및 상기 필터들 사이에 배치된 블랙 매트릭스를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치. - 제19 항에 있어서,
상기 필터들은,
상기 양자점들 중 상기 제1 색 광을 수신하여 상기 제2 색 광을 생성하는 양자점들을 포함하는 제1 필터; 및
상기 제1 색 광을 투과시키는 제2 필터를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 표시장치.
