Abstract
본 발명의 특징은 LED어셈블리의 FPCB를 일부 영역이 점핑FPCB를 통해 2중층 구조를 갖도록 형성함으로써, FPCB의 면적을 넓히거나, FPCB를 다층 금속층으로 형성하지 않더라도 다수의 LED를 일정 간격 이격되어 실장되도록 할 수 있다.
따라서, 고휘도의 액정표시장치를 구현할 수 있으면서도 경량 및 박형의 액정표시장치를 구현할 수 있으며, 또한, 공정비용을 절감할 수 있어, 공정의 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있다.

Claims (7)
- 액정패널과;
상기 액정패널의 하부에 위치하며, 다수의 LED가 실장되며, 제 1 베이스필름과, 상기 제 1 베이스필름 상부로 서로 분할된 제 1 및 제 2 금속배선을 포함하는 제 1 금속층이 구비된 LED FPCB를 갖는 LED어셈블리와;
상기 LED FPCB 상부로 위치하며, 제 2 베이스필름과, 상기 제 2 베이스필름 상부로 상기 제 1 및 제 2 금속배선을 연결하는 제 2 금속층을 갖는 점핑FPCB
를 포함하며, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 금속배선으로는 동일한 제 1 신호가 인가되며,
상기 액정패널과, 상기 LED어셈블리는 커버버툼을 통해 모듈화되며,
상기 점핑FPCB는 상기 커버버툼에 구비된 인출홈에 대응하여 위치하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 2 금속층은 제 1 및 제 2 더미패드와, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 더미패드를 연결하는 연결배선을 포함하며, 상기 제 1 및 제 2 금속배선의 각 일끝단에는 상기 제 1 및 제 2 더미패드와 각각 납땜(soldering)에 의해 연결되는 제 1 및 제 2 분할패드가 구비되는 액정표시장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 금속층 상부로는 상기 제 1 및 제 2 분할패드를 노출하는 제 1 커버층이 구비되며, 상기 제 2 금속층 상부로는 상기 제 1 및 제 2 더미패드를 노출하는 제 2 커버층이 구비되는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 제 1 및 제 2 금속배선 사이로는 상기 제 1 신호와 다른 제 2 신호가 인가되는 제 3 금속배선이 위치하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 점핑FPCB는 상기 제 2 금속층이 다층으로 이루어지는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 점핑FPCB 상부로는 절연테이프가 위치하는 액정표시장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,
상기 LED FPCB와 상기 점핑 FPCB는 서로 동일한 층구조를 가지고 있으며,
상기 제 1 및 제 2 베이스필름은 서로 동일한 재질로 이루어지며,
상기 제 1 및 제 2 금속층은 서로 동일한 재질로 이루어지는 액정표시장치.
