Claims (5)
- 하기 조건 (1) 및 (2)를 만족하는 함유율로 Si성분 및 희토류 원소 성분을 함유하고,
알루미나 입자와 하기 조건 (3)을 만족하는 복합 산화물 결정상을 가지는 알루미나 입계상을 가지는 알루미나기 소결체로 이루어지는 절연체를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 스파크 플러그.
(1) 0.05≤Si성분을 산화물로 환산한 함유율(질량%)≤0.45
(2) 2.5≤[(희토류 원소 성분을 산화물로 환산한 함유율)/(Si성분을 산화물로 환산한 함유율)]≤4.5
(3) Al성분, Si성분, IUPAC 1990년 권고에 의거하는 주기표의 제2족 원소의 각 성분(이하, 제2족 성분이라고 부른다) 및 희토류 원소의 각 성분으로부터 선택되는 적어도 2종의 성분을 포함하는 복합 산화물 결정상
- 청구항 1에 있어서,
상기 알루미나기 소결체는, 알루미나기 소결체의 전체 질량을 100질량%로 했을 때에, 산화물 환산으로 97질량% 이상의 함유율로 Al성분을 함유하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 스파크 플러그.
- 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서,
상기 알루미나기 소결체는, 하기 조건 (4)를 만족하는 함유율로 상기 제2족 성분을 함유하고,
상기 알루미나 입자는 그 평균입자직경이 2∼6.5㎛이며,
상기 복합 산화물 결정상은 Al성분 함유 결정을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 스파크 플러그.
(4) 0.05≤[(Mg성분을 산화물로 환산한 함유율)/(상기 제2족 성분을 산화물로 환산한 함유율)]≤0.35
- 청구항 1 또는 청구항 2에 있어서,
상기 알루미나기 소결체는, 하기 조건 (5)를 만족하는 함유율로 상기 제2족 성분 및 희토류 원소 성분을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 스파크 플러그.
(5) 0.25≤[(상기 제2족 성분을 산화물로 환산한 함유율)/(희토류 원소 성분을 산화물로 환산한 함유율)]≤0.95
- 청구항 4에 있어서,
상기 알루미나기 소결체로 제작된 절연체의 임의의 절단면에 있어서의 상기 알루미나 입자, 상기 복합 산화물 결정상 및 기공 각각의 합계 면적이 0.46≤[(상기 복합 산화물 결정상의 합계 면적)/(상기 알루미나 입자의 합계 면적)]≤0.52, 또한 0.019≤[(기공의 합계 면적)/(상기 알루미나 입자의 합계 면적)]≤0.024를 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 스파크 플러그.
