Claims (4)
- 제1기판과 제2기판;상기 제1기판상에 형성된 다수개의 게이트라인과 다수개의 공통전극라인;상기 다수개의 게이트라인 각각과 교차되어 다수개의 화소영역 각각을 정의하는 다수개의 데이터라인;상기 게이트라인과 데이터라인 각각과 교차되는 지점에 형성되는 박막트랜지스터;상기 다수개의 화소영역중 상기 게이트라인의 연장 방향으로 서로 인접하는 제1, 2 화소영역;상기 제1, 2 화소영역에 구비된 박막트랜지스터와 전기적으로 접속되며 복수개의 제1 화소전극 브랜치가 제1방향으로 분할되어 배치된 화소전극과, 상기 공통전극라인과 전기적으로 접속되며 복수개의 제1 공통전극 브랜치가 제1방향으로 분할되어 배치된 공통전극;상기 다수개의 화소영역중 상기 제1, 2 화소영역에 대해 상기 게이트라인의 연장 방향 및 상기 데이터라인의 연장 방향으로 인접하며, 상기 게이트라인의 연장방향으로 서로 인접하는 제3, 4 화소영역;상기 제3, 4 화소영역에 구비된 박막트랜지스터와 전기적으로 접속되며 복수개의 제2 화소전극 브랜치가 상기 제1 방향과 다른 제2 방향으로 분할되어 배치된 화소전극과, 상기 공통전극라인과 전기적으로 접속되며 복수개의 제2 공통전극 브랜치가 제2방향으로 분할되어 배치된 공통전극;상기 제2기판상에 형성된 컬러필터층; 및상기 제1기판과 제2기판사이에 형성된 액정층을 포함하며,상기 화소영역들중 3개의 화소영역이 하나의 도트패턴으로 구성된 횡전계모드 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 화소전극은 상기 박막트랜지스터를 구성하는 드레인전극과 전기적으로 접속되는 횡전계모드 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1방향으로 제1 화소전극 브랜치와 제1 공통전극 브랜치가 배치된 제1, 2 화소영역과, 제2방향으로 제2 화소전극 브랜치와 제2 공통전극 브랜치가 배치된 제3, 4 화소영역은 교대로 반복하여 구성되는 횡전계모드 액정표시소자.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 3개의 화소영역이 하나의 도트패턴으로 구성되는 경우, 화소전극 브랜치와 공통전극 브랜치가 제1방향으로 배치된 두개의 화소와 제2방향으로 배치된 하나의 화소가 제1 도트패턴을 구성하며, 제2방향으로 배치된 하나의 화소와 제1방향으로 배치된 두개의 화소가 제2 도트패턴을 구성하며, 제2방향으로 배치된 두개의 화소와 제1방향으로 배치된 하나의 화소가 제3 도트패턴을 구성하며, 제1방향으로 배치된 한개의 화소와 제2방향으로 배치된 두개의 화소가 제4 도트패턴을 구성하되, 이들 도트패턴들은 교대로 반복되어 배열되는 횡전계모드 액정표시소자.
