Claims (8)
- DSLAM(110)과 xDSL 모뎀(120) 사이의 네트워크 내의 손실성 통신 경로(112, 113; 303) 상에서 정보 패킷들을 전송하는 전송기 디바이스(301)를 포함하는 상기 DSLAM(110)으로서, 상기 정보 패킷들은 흐름(flow)을 구성하는, 상기 DSLAM(110)에 있어서, 상기 전송기 디바이스(301)는,상기 정보 패킷들을 수신하는 수단;상기 정보 패킷들을 전송하는 수단(310);상기 정보 패킷들의 적어도 일부에 대한 재전송 요청을 수신하는 수단(316); 및상기 정보 패킷들의 상기 일부를 재전송하는 수단(310)을 포함하고,상기 재전송 수단(310)은 적어도 하나의 트래픽 파라미터(traffic parameter)에 기초하여 상기 정보 패킷들을 서브흐름들(subflows)에 연관시키고, 연관된 서브흐름에 따라 상기 정보 패킷들의 상기 일부를 재전송하도록 적응되고,상기 전송 수단(310)은 적어도 하나의 부가적인 헤더를 상기 정보 패킷들에 부가하도록 적응되고-- 상기 헤더는 패킷을 특정 서브흐름의 멤버(member)로서 식별하고 상기 서브흐름 내에서 패킷의 위치 또는 순서를 식별함 --, 상기 xDSL 모뎀(120)에서 상기 서브흐름 내의 패킷이 누락되어 재전송되야하는지의 결정을 허용하도록 적응되는 패킷 에디터(306)를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, DSLAM(110).
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 재전송 수단(310)은 상기 서브흐름들 중 적어도 하나에 대한 점 대 점 재전송(Point-to-Point retransmission)을 위해 적응된 것을 특징으로 하는, DSLAM(110).

- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 재전송 수단(310)은 최종 시스템들(end systems)에 투명한 방식으로 상기 정보 패킷을 재전송하도록 적응된 것을 특징으로 하는, DSLAM(110).
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 적어도 하나의 트래픽 파라미터는 상기 정보 패킷의 트래픽 클래스(traffic class)에 대응하는 것을 특징으로 하는, DSLAM(110).

- 네트워크 내의 손실성 통신 경로(112, 113; 303) 상에서 정보 패킷들을 수신하는 xDSL 모뎀(302)에 있어서,정보 패킷들을 수신하는 수단(311);상기 정보 패킷들의 적어도 일부에 대한 재전송 요청을 전송하는 수단(315); 및상기 정보 패킷들의 일부의 재전송을 수신하는 수단(311)을 포함하고,상기 재전송 요청은 서브흐름과 연관되고, 상기 재전송 요청을 전송하는 수단(315)은 네트워크의 일부에서 상기 요청을 송신하도록 적응되고,상기 xDSL 모뎀(302)은 패킷이 상기 서흐브름에서 누락되어, 누락된 패킷의 재전송이 요청되야하는지를 결정하도록 적응된 패킷 에디터(312)를 추가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, xDSL 모뎀(302).
