Claims (20)
- 불활성 지지체 위에 촉매 활성 피막을 함유하며, 환원제로서 암모니아 또는 암모니아로 분해되는 화합물을 사용하는 질소 산화물의 선택적 촉매 환원을 위한 바나듐 비함유 촉매로서,상기 촉매 활성 피막이, 균질한 세륨-지르코늄 혼합 옥사이드의 총 중량을 기준으로 하여, 산화세륨을 10 내지 90중량% 함유하고, 크롬, 몰리브덴, 텅스텐 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 전이 금속을 도입하여 선택적 촉매 환원(Selective catalytic reduction; SCR) 반응을 위하여 활성화된, 균질한 세륨-지르코늄 혼합 옥사이드를 전체적으로 또는 부분적으로 포함하고,균질한 세륨-지르코늄 혼합 옥사이드가 크롬, 몰리브덴, 텅스텐 또는 이들의 혼합물의 수용액으로 함침되는 공정으로서, 상기 수용액의 양은, 균질한 세륨-지르코늄 혼합 옥사이드 분말이 자유-유동 특성을 손실하지 않으면서 기공이 충전될 수 있게 습윤화되도록 선택되는 공정에 의해 제조되는, 바나듐 비함유 촉매.
- 제1항에 있어서, 균질한 세륨-지르코늄 혼합 옥사이드가, 균질한 세륨-지르코늄 혼합 옥사이드의 총 중량을 기준으로 하여, 1 내지 9중량%의 희토류 금속 옥사이드로 도핑되는, 바나듐 비함유 촉매.
- 제2항에 있어서, 희토류 금속 옥사이드가 스칸듐, 이트륨, 란타늄, 프라세오디뮴, 네오디뮴, 사마륨, 유로퓸, 가돌리늄 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 금속의 옥사이드인, 바나듐 비함유 촉매.
- 제1항에 있어서, 활성화된 균질한 세륨-지르코늄 혼합 옥사이드가, 크롬, 몰리브덴, 텅스텐 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 전이 금속을 2 내지 20중량% 함유하는, 바나듐 비함유 촉매.
- 제4항에 있어서, 활성화된 균질한 세륨-지르코늄 혼합 옥사이드가, 망간, 철, 코발트, 니켈, 구리, 루테늄, 로듐, 팔라듐, 은, 이리듐, 백금, 금 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 전이 금속 0.1 내지 10중량%를 추가로 함유하는, 바나듐 비함유 촉매.
- 제4항에 있어서, 활성화된 균질한 세륨-지르코늄 혼합 옥사이드가, 황을 0.01 내지 5중량% 함유하는, 바나듐 비함유 촉매.
- 제1항에 있어서, 지지체가 세라믹 또는 금속으로 이루어지는, 바나듐 비함유 촉매.
- 제7항에 있어서, 세라믹 유동 관통 벌집형 단일체(honeycomb monolith) 또는 세라믹 벽 유동 필터 기판이 지지체로서 사용되는, 바나듐 비함유 촉매.
- 제1항에 있어서, 열수 노화 후에, 300℃를 초과하는 온도 범위에서 80%의 산화질소 전환율을 나타내는, 바나듐 비함유 촉매.

- 자동차의 린-번(lean-burn) 내연 엔진의 배기 가스로부터 질소 산화물을 제거하는 방법으로서, 배기 가스를 제1항의 바나듐 비함유 촉매와 접촉시키는 단계를 포함하는 방법.
