Description
Claims (9)
- 컬러필터가 형성된 상부 기판과;상기 상부 기판과 박막트랜지스터가 형성된 상면이 대응되며, 노광 및 식각공정을 통해 배면이 식각되어 콘 형태의 패턴이 형성되고 상기 패턴에 굴절률이 다른 광 유도매질층이 형성된 하부 기판과;상기 상부 기판과 상기 하부 기판이 일정간격 이격되어 대향하고 있고, 그 사이에 충진된 액정층과;상기 하부 기판의 하부에는 빛을 공급하는 백라이트 어셈블리를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 반투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 상부 기판의 상면과 상기 하부 기판의 하면에 각각 광 투과축이 서로 수직이 되도록 마련되는 상부 편광판 및 하부 편광판을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 반투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 하부 편광판과 상기 백라이트 어셈블리사이에 마련되어, 상기 백라이트 어셈블리로부터 발광된 빛이 평행광으로 입사되도록 하는 콜리메이팅 필름이 더 구비되는 것을 특징으로 하는 반투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 하부 기판에는 반사 영역과 투과 영역으로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 반투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 하부 기판의 반사 영역과 투과 영역은 6 :4 의 비율로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 반투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 하부 기판의 유도매질층은 상기 하부기판의 투과 영역과 대응되는 위치에 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 반투과형 액정표시장치.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 광 유도매질층은 상기 하부 기판보다 굴절율이 큰 매질로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 반투과형 액정표시장치.
- 상부 기판, 하부 기판 및 두 기판 사이에 형성되는 액정층으로 구성되는 액정 표시 장치를 제조함에 있어서,상기 하부기판의 일면에 박막 트랜지스터가 형성되는 단계와, 상기 하부기판의 배면에 노광 및 식각 공정으로 상기 배면이 식각되어 콘 형태의 패턴이 형성되는 단계와, 상기 패턴에 상기 하부 기판과 굴절률이 다른 광 유도매질층을 코팅하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 반투과형 액정표시장치의 제조방법.
- 제 8항에 있어서,상기 광 유도매질층은 상기 하부 기판보다 굴절율이 큰 매질로 형성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 반투과형 액정표시장치의 제조 방법.
