Claims (16)
- 제1 전극을 포함하는 제1 기판,상기 제1 기판과 마주하며, 상기 제1 전극과 전기장을 형성하는 제2 전극을 포함하는 제2 기판,마주하는 상기 제1 기판 및 제2 기판 상부에 형성되어 있으며 경사각을 가지는 돌기,상기 제1 기판 및 제2 기판 위에 각각 형성되어 있는 제1 수평 배향막 및 제2 수평 배향막,상기 제1 및 제2 기판 사이에 주입되어 있으며, 구동 전압 인가시, 상기 제1 및 제2 기판에 대하여 수직으로 배열되며, 동시에 상기 돌기에 의해 형성되는 선경사각으로 인하여 상기 돌기 사이의 중심선과 상기 기판의 중심면에 대하여 대칭으로 배열되어 있는 액정 분자들로 이루어진 액정 물질층을 포함하며,상기 제1 기판과 상기 제2 기판 위에 존재하는 돌기는 서로 마주하는 위치에 각각 형성되어 있는 액정 표시 장치.

- 제1항에서, 상기 액정 물질층은 양의 유전율 이방성을 가지는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서, 상기 제1 기판 및 제2 기판의 바깥쪽에 각각 부착되어 있는 편광판을 더 포함하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제6항에서, 상기 편광판의 투과축은 서로 수직 또는 수평을 이루도록 배치되어 있는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서, 상기 구동 전압 인가 후, 상기 액정 분자들은 상기 제1 및 제2 기판 면에 대하여 상기 돌기를 중심으로 방사형으로 배열되어 있는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서, 상기 액정 물질층에는 상기 전기장에 의해 상기 액정 분자가 균일한 방향으로 돌아가도록 카이럴 첨가제가 포함되어 있는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제1항에서, 상기 제1 또는 제2 전극은 불투명한 도전 물질 또는 투명한 도전 물질인 ITO 또는 IZO로 이루어진 액정 표시 장치.
- 서로 마주보고 있는 제1 및 제2 기판,상기 제1 및 제2 기판 사이에 주입되어 있고, 상기 제1 기판에서 상기 제2 기판에 이르기까지 상기 제1 및 제2 기판에 대한 액정 분자의 경사각이 점차 증가하는 하이브리드 배열을 포함하는 액정 물질층,상기 제1 기판에 형성되어 있으며, 상기 액정 분자를 수평으로 배향하는 제1 배향막,상기 제2 기판에 형성되어 있으며, 상기 액정 분자를 수직으로 배향하는 제2 배향막, 및마주하는 상기 제1 기판의 상부에 경사면을 가지고 형성되어 있으며, 구동 전압 인가시, 상기 제1 및 제2 기판 면에 대하여 상기 액정 분자를 방사형 또는 동심원 모양으로 배열하기 위한 돌기를 포함하며,상기 돌기는 한 화소 내에 복수개로 존재하는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제11항에서, 상기 액정 물질층은 양의 유전율 이방성을 가지는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제11항에서, 상기 제1 기판에 인접한 상기 액정 분자는 상기 돌기의 상기 경사면을 따라 배열되어 있는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제11항에서, 상기 구동 전압 인가시, 상기 제1 기판에 인접한 상기 액정 분자는 상기 돌기의 동심원을 따라 상기 기판에 평행하게 배열되어 있는 액정 표시 장치.
- 제11항에서, 상기 제2 기판에 인접한 상기 액정 분자는 상기 구동 전압 인가후, 상기 제1 기판 및 제2 기판에 대하여 수직으로 배열되어 있는 액정 표시 장치.
