Claims (6)
- 박막 트랜지스터의 게이트 신호 인가 주기를 기준으로 할때 액정 구동을 위한 실질 1프레임(T)이 데이터 전압 인가 프레임(Td)과 후속되는 유지전압 인가 프레임(Tm)의 2개 프레임으로 이루어지고(T=Td+Tm), (a). 액정표시장치의 구동을 위하여 액정 구동을 위한 전압을 인가할 때, 상기 실질 1프레임(T) 안에서 데이터 인가시간(Td) 동안에는 실제 데이터에 해당하는 전압(Vd)을 인가하는 데이터 전압 인가 단계와; (b). 상기 실제 데이터에 해당하는 전압(Vd) 인가후, 다음 데이터 전에 상기 실질 1프레임 안에서, 스플레이 상태로의 복귀를 방지하는, 벤드 상태를 유지시켜 주기 위한 소정의 전압(Vm)을 유지시간(Tm) 동안 인가하는 벤드상태 유지전압 인가 단계;로 구동함을 특징으로 하는 박막 트랜지스터 액정표시장치의 액정 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 실제 데이터에 해당하는 전압(Vd)과 상기 벤드 상태를 유지시켜 주기 위한 전압(Vm)은; (Vd ×Td + Vm ×Tm)/T ≥Vtr, (단, Vtr은 스플레이 상태로의 복귀 임계전압);의 수식을 만족시키는 전압값을 각각 유지하는 것을 특징으로 하는 박막 트랜지스터 액정표시장치의 액정 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 데이터가 인가되는 시간(Td)과 유지시간(Tm)은;Td = Tm = T/2 로 구동함을 특징으로 하는 박막 트랜지스터 액정표시장치의 액정 구동방법.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 스플레이 상태로의 복귀를 방지하는, 벤드 상태를 유지시켜 주기 위한 소정의 전압(Vm)은 구동 최대전압(Vmax)인 것을 특징으로 하는 박막 트랜지스터 액정표시장치의 액정 구동방법.
- 액정표시장치의 구동을 위하여 데이터 전압을 소정 화소에 인가하는 데이터 전압 인가단계와; 상기 데이터 전압에 의해서 구동된 화소의 액정 상태가 벤드상태로부터 스플레이 상태로 복귀되기 전에, 상기 스플레이 상태로의 복귀를 방지하기 위한 소정의 벤드상태 유지전압을 인가하는 유지전압 인가단계; 로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 박막 트랜지스터 액정표시장치의 액정 구동방법.
- 제 5 항에 있어서, 상기 유지전압 인가단계에 의해서 상기 액정이 벤드 상태로부터 스플레이 상태로 천이되지 않게됨으로 인해, 상기 액정 구동이 스플레이 상태로의 복귀 임계전압(Vtr) 이하에서도 이루어짐을 특징으로 하는 박막 트랜지스터 액정표시장치의 액정 구동방법.
