Description
Claims (8)
- 반사형 분산보상 광증폭장치에 있어서,제 1 반사 수단을 구비하여, 입력된 광신호에 대해 증폭하여 전달하고, 상기 전달된 증폭 광신호를 상기 제 1 반사 수단을 통해 반사하여 다시 증폭하여 출력하기 위한 증폭 수단;제 2 반사 수단을 구비하여, 상기 증폭 수단으로부터 입력된 증폭 광신호에 대해, 분산에 따른 영향을 보상하고, 상기 분산보상된 증폭 광신호를 상기 제 2 반사 수단을 통해 반사하여 다시 분산보상을 수행하여 출력하기 위한 분산보상 수단; 및상기 입력된 광신호를 상기 증폭수단으로 전달하고, 상기 증폭수단으로부터 출력된 광신호를 상기 분산보상 수단으로 전달하며, 상기 분산보상 수단으로부터의 분산보상된 광신호를 출력하기 위한 광경로변환 수단을 포함하는 반사형 분산보상 광증폭장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 증폭 수단은,입력된 광신호에 대해, 상기 입력된 광신호의 상태를 여기시키기 위한 펌프 광신호를 발생시키기 위한 펌프 광발생 수단;상기 입력된 광신호와 상기 펌프 광신호를 결합하여 전달하기 위한 WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) 커플링 수단;상기 WDM 커플링 수단으로부터 전달받은 신호를 증폭하여 전달하고, 상기 제 1 반사 수단을 통해 반사된 신호를 증폭하여 전달하기 위한 희토류 첨가 증폭 수단; 및상기 희토류 첨가 증폭 수단을 통해 전달된 광신호를 반사하여, 상기 희토류 첨가 증폭 수단로 전달하기 위한 상기 제 1 반사 수단을 포함하는 반사형 분산보상 광증폭장치.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,상기 분산보상 수단은,상기 증폭 수단을 통해 전달된 광신호에 대한 광섬유의 분산보상을 수행하고, 상기 제 2 반사수단을 통해 반사된 신호에 대해 분산보상을 하여 전달하기 위한 분산보상 광섬유; 및상기 분산보상 광섬유를 통해 분산보상된 광신호를 반사하여, 상기 분산보상 광섬유로 다시 전달하기 위한 상기 제 2 반사 수단을 포함하는 반사형 분산보상 광증폭장치.
- 제 1 항에 있어서, 상기 광경로 변환 수단은, 상기 증폭 수단과 상기 분산 보상 수단을 연결하면서, 상기 분산보상 수단에서 발생한 레일리 산란이 상기 증폭수단에 영향을 미치지 못하도록 하는 써큘레이터인 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 분산보상 광증폭장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 희토류 첨가 증폭 수단은, EDFA(Erbium Doped Fiber Amplifier)인 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 분산보상 광증폭장치.
- 제 2 항에 있어서, 상기 제 1 반사 수단은, FRM(Faraday Rotator Mirror)인 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 분산보상 광증폭장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 제 2 반사 수단은, FRM(Faraday Rotator Mirror)인 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 분산보상 광증폭장치.
- 제 3 항에 있어서, 상기 분산보상 광섬유는, 전송을 위해 사용된 광섬유와 반대의 분산 값을 갖도록 하여 분산보상을 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 반사형 분산보상 광증폭장치.
