Claims (5)
- 액정 패널의 주사선을 구동하는 게이트 구동 수단, 액정 패널의 신호선을 구동하는 소스 구동 수단, 영상 신호 및 제어 신호를 입력받아서 게이트 구동 수단과 소스 구동 수단의 타이밍을 처리하는 구동 제어 수단을 포함하는 액티브 매트릭스 박막 트랜지스터 액정 표시 장치에 있어서, 하나의 프레임이 홀수 주사선만을 구동하여 화면을 형성시키는 제1필드와 짝수 주사선만을 구동하여 화면을 형성시키는 제2필드로 구성되도록 비월 주사하고, 상기 구동 제어 수단은 수평 동기 신호의 홀수 번째의 클럭에 동기하는 제 1게이트 구동 신호와 짝수 번째의 클럭에 동기하는 제2게이트 구동 신호를 출력하고, 상기 소스 구동 수단은 상기 제1필드에서 R신호선에 정극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고 G신호선에 부극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고 B 신호선에 정극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고, 상기 제2 필드에서 R 신호선에 부극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고 G 신호선에 정극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고 B신호선에 부극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가함으로써, 상기 제1필드와 제2필드에 인가하는 화소 계조 전압을 반전 상태가 되도록 하여 한 프레인 동안 화소 반전 구동을 하는 것이 특징인 박막 트랜지스터 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 소스 구동 수단은, 상기 제1필드에서 R신호선에 정극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고 G신호선에 정극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고 B신호선에 부극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고, 상기 제2필드에서 R신호선에 부극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고 G신호선에 부극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고 B신호선에 정극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 박막 트랜지스터 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기한 소스 구동 수단은, 상기 액정 패널의 상측면과 하측면 양쪽에 위치하여 상기 액정 패널의 서로 다른 신호선을 구동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 박막 트랜지스터 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기한 상측면에 위치하는 소스 구동 수단은, 상위 R, G, B 신호선 각각에 인가되는 계조 반전 신호의 주기 및 위상을 조절하고, 하측면에 위치하는 소스 구동 수단은,하위 R, G, B 신호선 각각에 인가되는 계조 반전 신호의 주기 및 위상을 조절하는 것을 특징으로 하는 박막 트랜지스터 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서,상측면에 위치하는 소스 구동 수단은, 상기 제1필드에서 상위 R신호선에 정극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고 상위 G신호선에 정극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고 상위 B 신호선에 정극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고, 상기 제2필드에서 상위 R 신호선에 부극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고 상위 G 신호선에 부극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고 상위 B 신호선에 부극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고, 하측면에 위치하는 소스 구동 수단은, 상기 제1필드에서 하위 R 신호선에 부극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고 하위 G신호선에 부극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고 하위 B신호선에 부극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고, 상기 제2필드에서 하위 R 신호선에 정극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고 하위 G신호선에 정극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하고 하위 B신호선에 정극성의 계조 전압 신호를 인가하는 것을 특징으로 하는 박막 트랜지스터 액정 표시 장치의 구동 방법.
