Various decorative materials have been proposed in the past that utilize the difference in gloss between inks to give depth to patterns and improve the design effect. tends to cause defects. Wood grain pattern glossy part and matte part 2
There are only different types of gloss, and the design is unnatural.
Sellotape resistance and other surface properties are insufficient. If a protective layer is provided for the purpose of improving surface properties, the effect of differences in gloss will be lost.
Due to these drawbacks, its use was limited to ceilings and could not be used for interior purposes such as walls.

The present invention was made to eliminate these drawbacks, and its purpose is to apply ink or paint to the entire surface of base paper with improved interpaper strength, such as resin-impregnated paper or resin-mixed paper, and A decorative material in which a base pattern is applied with multiple layers of glossy ink using a thermosetting resin as a binder, and then an overcoat pattern is applied with a matte ink using a thermosetting resin as a binder, and the decorative material is used as a plate-like substrate. The purpose of this paper is to provide decorative materials laminated to surfaces and methods of manufacturing them.

First, as shown in FIG. 1, ink or paint is applied to the entire surface of base paper 1 to form a ground coat layer 2. The base paper 1 is made of resin-impregnated paper, resin-mixed paper, or the like with improved interpaper strength. Additionally, coated paper can also be used. Specifically, examples include "TS sheet" manufactured by Shirakawa Paper Co., Ltd., "NS (T) sheet" manufactured by Nagoya Pulp Co., Ltd., and other names. The ground coat layer 2 is selected from nitrified cotton ink, special acrylic ink, thermosetting resin ink, acrylic paint, thermosetting resin paint, and others depending on the base paper 1 used. The ground coat layer 2 is desirably glossy, but is not particularly limited.

Next, a base pattern layer 3 is provided. Base pattern layer 3 is 2
It consists of layers to four layers, and is applied so that it can be divided into a single layer, two layers, three layers, and four layers depending on the shape of the pattern. The ink is aminoalkyd based,
It is made by using urethane-based or other thermosetting resin as a binder and adding pigments and the like. Therefore, depending on the content of the additive, it can be considered that the pattern is formed by printing the paint. Further, the gloss of the base pattern layer 3 is adjusted so that there is a visual difference in gloss from the gloss of the top pattern layer 4, and the layer is glossy. As shown in FIG. 1, the base pattern layer 3 is divided into a single layer portion to a four layer portion depending on the shape of the pattern.
The gloss level increases as the number of layers increases.

Next, a top pattern layer 4 is provided. Top pattern layer 4 is 1
The ink is made of a thermosetting resin as a binder and pigments and the like are added thereto, similar to the base pattern layer 3. Further, the gloss is adjusted to be matte so as to have a visual difference in gloss from the gloss of the base pattern layer 3.

The decorative material according to the present invention uses a base paper with improved paper-to-paper strength and further uses a thermosetting resin as an ink binder, so even with the above configuration, the surface properties are sufficiently satisfactory. Yes, but
Furthermore, a surface protection layer 5 may be provided on the background pattern layer 4 in order to protect the printed surface. The surface protective layer 5 is formed of a transparent ink using an aminoalkyd-based, urethane-based, or other thermosetting resin as a binder, or a transparent paint containing the above-mentioned thermosetting resin as a main component. It is formed to a thickness that does not increase or decrease the glossiness of each glossy ink. Note that the above objective can also be achieved by changing the blending contents.

By providing the surface protective layer 5 in this way, the surface physical properties can be improved without impairing the design due to the difference in gloss between the matte portion 6, the glossy portion 7, and the intermediate semi-gloss portions 8, 9, and 10. can be done.

Next, the decorative material (hereinafter referred to as a decorative sheet) in a state before forming the surface protection layer 5 is bonded to plywood, an inorganic board, or other plate-shaped base material 11 via an adhesive to form a plate-shaped decorative material. can also be manufactured.
Moreover, the adhesive material can also be arbitrarily selected depending on the plate-like base material 11. It is also possible to produce a plate-shaped decorative material provided with the surface protective layer 5.
may be provided after the decorative sheet is bonded to the plate-shaped base material 11, or may be provided to the decorative sheet before bonded to the plate-shaped base material 11.

The decorative material of the present invention produced as described above uses base paper with improved interpaper strength, such as resin-mixed paper or resin-impregnated paper, and ink containing thermosetting resin as the main component. Furthermore, since a surface protective layer is provided on the pattern layer, the surface physical properties such as cellophane resistance are good, and the application of conventional products is limited to ceilings, but it is also suitable for interior decorations such as walls. It has the effect of being usable for other purposes. Furthermore, depending on the glossiness of the inks and paints used and their layer structure, as well as by adjusting the thickness and compounding content of the surface protective layer 5, it is possible to express very deep patterns. A product with excellent design can also be obtained.

That is, while the conventional product can only produce two types of gloss, a glossy part and a matte part, the decorative material of the present invention has a base pattern layer 3 consisting of 2 to 4 layers, a single layer part, a 2-layer part, and a matte part. As the number of layers increases, such as a layered portion, a 3-layered portion, and a 4-layered portion, the gloss level increases, and there are multilevel differences in gloss including the matte portion.

Specifically, on the base paper on which the ground coat layer has been formed, the first layer of the base pattern layer is formed using glossy ink using a thermosetting resin as a binder, and then the first layer of the base pattern layer A second layer of the base pattern layer is formed by applying the same glossy ink to partially cover the layer. Then, compared to the exposed area of the first layer, the area where the second layer is coated has a higher gloss level, creating a difference in gloss between the two.
Combined with the top pattern layer, it becomes a decorative material with multi-level differences in gloss.
