Next, to explain the operation of this embodiment, the vertical pipe wastewater flowing down inside the upper vertical pipe 2A mainly flows down in the form of a water film along the inner peripheral surface of the upper vertical pipe 2A. In the space part K1, the inner peripheral surface of the tapered part 6 extends from the lower end edge of the upper vertical pipe 2A to the tongue partition surface 9, and expands somewhat in the radial direction under the influence of the positive pressure inside the pipe due to drainage. Freely flows down in irregular droplets towards the target. On the other hand, in the area where the tongue pieces 8L and 8R are located, the tongue pieces 8L and 8R are present.
Similarly, it flows down from the lower edge of R.

In other words, the level at which the vertical pipe drainage starts to form splashes is between the tongue piece partition surface 9 and the tongue pieces 8L, 8 of the space K1.
By dividing it into the R lower end edge, ventilation in the space K1 is facilitated. Therefore, the upper vertical pipe 2A
The drainage water that has flowed further down is dispersed between the lower edges of the tongues 8L and 8R and the tongue partition surface 9 and falls freely in the form of irregular droplets, resulting in blockage of the side branch pipe connection port due to the vertical pipe drainage, or Backflow of wastewater into branch pipes is prevented.

In addition, on the side of this embodiment, tongue pieces 8L and 8R
Since tongue piece partition surfaces 9, 9 are formed at two places between
The tongue pieces 8L, 8R and the two tongue piece partitions 9, 9 allow the two tongue piece partitions 9, 9 to freely fall in four locations, thereby maintaining ventilation in the vertical pipe drainage, and the side branch pipe drainage also flowing through the tongue. Since ventilation is maintained by collision with the pieces 8L and 8R, ventilation between the main body and the side branch pipe is maintained.
Therefore, the water seals of the drainage traps connected to the side pipes 4A, 5A are protected.

As explained above, the tongue-fitted pipe joint according to the present invention is a drain pipe joint that is provided with an upper drain pipe connection port at the top and a side branch pipe connection port on the side. An expanded portion is provided below the connection port and has an inner diameter larger than the inner diameter of the upper drain pipe connection port, and an inner opening of the side branch pipe connection port is located on the side of the expanded portion. A tongue piece is provided hanging down from the inner wall of the drain pipe joint so as to be almost opposite to the side branch pipe connection port.
Since a space is provided through the side edge of the tongue piece, the blockage of the side branch pipe connection port due to vertical pipe drainage and the cross flow between the vertical pipe drainage and the horizontal branch pipe drainage are prevented, and drainage and detergent are prevented. The drainage water can be allowed to flow down smoothly while preventing bubbles and the like from flowing back into the side branch pipe, thereby achieving the above-mentioned objectives. That is, according to the present invention, it is possible to maintain the ventilation between the inside of the pipe joint and the inside of the side branch pipe, protect the water seal of the drain trap connected to the side branch pipe, and prevent the generation of noise inside the pipe. The effect is so great that it can be said to be indispensable as a drainage pipe member for buildings.
