PURPOSE:To simplify a cooling water passage, by making an inlet leading to a water jacket and another inlet of a through hole piercing through a cylinder side both open to a setting seat of one cylinder of a V-type engine, while covering the seat with an inlet chamber. CONSTITUTION:An inlet 19 leading to a water jacket 15 and an inlet end 17a of a through hole 17 piercing through a cylinder block longitudinally both are opened to a setting seat 18 of one cylinder 2 of a V-type engine. In addition, an inlet chamber 22, whose backside is opened free and has a cooling water intake hole 23 on the surface, is put on the seat as a cover, and a discharge port of a water pump 24 is connected to the cooling water intake hole 23, then an outlet end of the through hole 17 is connected to a water jacket 14 of the other cylinder 1. With this constitution, the whole cooling water passage is simplifiable.
